Exclusive Interview with Swansea City Manager Daniel West

Interviewer- Why did you decide to stay and extend your contract by a further year at Swansea City Football Club?

Daniel West They are a brillant team and we are building history at the club that is the main reason but i also have a very strong bond with the coaches and players

Interviewer- What are your aims for next season?

Daniel West- Well i think if we can bring in somemore quality and depth to the squad so we can really challenge for the title as Manchester United ran away with it

Interviewer- Who are your transfer targets?

Daniel West- We have many targets but i think the main aim is to get some youngsters in the first 11 or even the subs bench as we don't anywhere near as much money as your Manchester Uniteds and Manchester Cities etc

Interviewer- As your team are in the champions league this season how do you think you can do in that massive competition?

Daniel West- I'm not too sure if we have enough strength in depth to compete for both the league title and champions league i think we will concetrate on the league but we will try to get as far as we can gt in the champions league and we will give a real good go it all depends on what new players we get.

Interviewer- Last question now, you said before about developing youngsters well you have the new 16 year old Keeper Jed Rudd who has had a run in the side and performed very well how do you think he will do this season?

Daniel West- Rudd has performed very well and has been fantastic in training and in games he is a great prospect he will be brilliant this season i'm absolutely sure of it

They are all pretty easy teams to achieve success with, Spurs are probaly the toughest as their strikeforce is crap.

Great update, are you gonna play a reserve side in the champions league? If your going to concentrate on challenging man utd for the league.

Man Utd are awful on my reading career sitting 6th place now dunno what's up with them Spurs Chelsea and Man city are the top dogs now and I'm now 4th woohoo!!!!
