Loaning out Youths.

After bringing through some possible future players through the academy i want them to get game time to ensure they reach their potential. However i don't want to play them in my first team yet, as they're current ability isn't anything special. I put some on the loan list last season , who looking back on them weren't exactly the best. I'd still of thought though that they'd be wanted by someone. Even when one did get loaned out, he came back after a season with no change to his overall rating. What was the point in that then? I want them to develop instead of being in my reserves not playing. So have you guys had any joy getting these youngsters out on loan and playing and if you have what rating were they? Also, is there anyway to check if they're playing when they are out on loan, 'cos if they're not, might as well call them back.

for example i had a GK that was 84 when i was with Inter, his potential was 91 but never reached it
