so i scout lots of players that are promising to be 91 potential. but they are to weak for myself to use them (around 60) so i put them on loan but after 2 seaons i havent had 1 (i got around 5) loaned away. anyone got a suggestion to get players like that to their potential?

Playing, playing and more playing seems to be the only way. I have promoted four youth team players to the reserves for my Everton team. One of those has become my second-choice goalkeeper, and has developed from OVR 60 to 64 with just four or five games played (which, incidentally, has increased his value from £0.9m to £4.7m in that time). Couldn't get the other out on loan, though.

Usually when you put a 'real' youth player up for loan then you get offers right away, but for some reason no-one wants scouted players.

I thought you might have to play them a bit and let them develop before anyone would take them, but that didn't seem to work, either.

Last night I had a guy go from 48 to 51 on the strength of one substitute's appearance!

Clubs put in loan offers for scouted players at the beginning of the next season

I've had 5 go out on loan in my game, so will be interested in if they come back better.

usually players from netherlands germany argentina brazil italy france and other big countries are the best scouted from. i only sign people that have overall over 60 then leave them in the youth academy until there 17. really helps them get better. usually goalkeepers and strikers progress faster because of the easy game they have to play.if a goalkeeper plays all throughout the season he will grow by 2 or 3 at the end. strikers only have to score goals and they get 1 or 2 ratings up. defenders are quick to grow but not as quick as strikers or goalkeepers. midfielders are the hardest to get ratings up because of their poor stamina an tendancys to get injured cause of fatigue. i signed a striker from italy he was 69. 3 seasons later he was 76 and has clinical finisher. also i think they should fix that the players have shit skills. wats the point of having a winger that cant do a step over. i hope they dont get rid of the scouting system just get someone who knows wat to do to fix it.
