I just want to add my two cents about this game.

I've been playing Fifa 12 since the end of December and this game is scripted by miles to the point where it becomes frustrating. I'm constantly conceding goals against the CPU because as soon as they get opportunities to score they put it in the back of the net. And I find it laughable how I can make tackles or blocks whilst they attack yet the ball seemingly falls back to them no matter what. The game just wants the CPU to score and it does this every single time.

And I hate how all teams regardless of what league they are in, can just pass the ball around with ease and perform tricks to get past my players to get through on goal. I don't want to witness League Two/One players performing to a Premier League standard every game. The game is massively in favour of the CPU and its boring. Now I do win a lot of games don't get me wrong, but the shit I witness in this game is rather pathetic at times. I'm surprised I haven't lost more because it seems the CPU is scripted to win every time regardless of which team i'm up against.

Destroyer has made the most sense in regards to this game being scripted. What everyone is missing is that all games are scripted it's impossible to create a game without a computer coded script. If we didn't have a script you would beat the computer 56-0 and they would stand still for the whole match. What Fifa 12 lacks is pure game enjoyability. On professional mode the defending is too solid no matter what team you verse, on semi-pro there is no defence, what had to be fixed is not the scripting but the fluidity of play and the levels of expertise. I hope this helps. FIFA 13 will be better, if not more scripted

just to explain you why we moan about the scripting, it isn't that the game is scripted. it's HOW the game is scripted.

It's scripted illogical, fastest players being outrun by slow players, powerful players being hold back by little opponents

To be honest I can sort of understand and even accept the scripting when playing the CPU. However what is absolutely unacceptable is when you get scripted against when playing online. I don't see the need to screw one player over in favour of another when it's 2 human players.

I'd like to give a shout out to someone I played the other day can't remember his username, anyway he scored in the 90th minute facing away from goal under heavy pressure about 25 yards out and his player actually fell over after shooting yet it still flew in the top corner. That was to win 1-0 btw. In fury I just booted the ball straight up to his keeper from kick-off, he actually then scored a deliberate own goal to level the match! When I messaged him after he said he didn't want to win by a screw job goal and is sick of Fifa's scripting.

If you can't see that the game is scripted then God help you. I have no explanation....perhaps you're just not good enough so it's not surprising when you lose or do something crap? I dunno.

My theory is the more matches you win/higher your skill level, the more difficult it is for you to win. It's not that you get matched against better players, but the actual game becomes more shit and it's more difficult for you to win. I proved that in FIFA 11 because i was killing everyone and then the more i played it, the crapper the game was and the more games felt scripted. And no, it was not the players i was playing against, because they weren't anything special and didn't have good records either. Then i created a new PSN account and guess what? The game felt like it was working then. Every game.

Sometimes people like me get scripted matches and passes just simply do not go where you aim them, decisions get given for no reason, your AI teammates turn crap and open goals will hit the post even if you do everything in your power to score them. That means even when you do overcome the opposition's advantage and get the opportunity to do something, it doesn't happen.

I have no problem whatsoever losing fairly. But losing because the game is a pile of shit and scripted against you? No, that's completely unacceptable.

Oh and fwiw, EA actually said the game is scripted when they explained their amazing new 'momentum' features, so good luck trying to convince people that it isn't if that's what you think.

Ive lost over 20 fut finals just because they let them win outta nowhere.. Back2back goals, last minute goals, 90+ pace acting 70, 70 pace actin 90+, retarted goalies, retarted defenders, false penalties, attackers shootin with their bad foot, heroic goalies, and the funny part.. it often happens when your ahead in the 1st half, and 2nd half your players will play like shit..
H2H, offline, Clubs, FUT.. its all has the same bullshit.. Im not buying no more EAlluminati games.. a matter of fact, the whole game industry is run by them.. "they" got the monopoly over since and product coming from Japan is from "them".. "they" run the Japanese defence system since they nuked the shii outta it.. ya think thats the only thing "they" run?
