My only attack isn't going to be only crosses and headers, of course I will play alot on the ground too, and that's why I will try Blackburn instead of Stoke

Hadn't really though about playing as stoke but i would expect the crosses to be pretty lethal but if that is your only line of attack then you will become unstuck against teams with good RBs and LBs or a dcent couple od CB who can jump higher than Crouch and Jones. Although i don't know how many defenders can beat them in the air...

Cameron Jerome has terrific pace and also good in the air. In fact id probably start him over Crouch. Plus Delap's long throws

The final game was against Man Utd., so I could top the table with a win, but Chelsea's final game was against Newcastle, so it seemed likely they would take the title in that case.

Went 1-0 up against Utd after 20mins, but 10mins later conceded an equaliser - went into half-time at 1-1 and saw that Chelsea had lost 2-1 to Newcastle. Three points at Old Trafford would now get me the title - went 2-1 up after 56mins. At 57mins conceded another equaliser, then Utd get a third at 66mins. After that, every pass goes astray, players start pulling up with injury when they're through on goal.....Man Utd win the league.

Just went some way towards exorcising my demons from last season - won the Community Shield against Man Utd., 3-0. Spent the first 25 minutes under serious pressure from Utd, with Sommer making three point blank saves, then broke up the field and scored with a passing move involving my whole front four. Utd totally deflated after that and the rest of the game was really comfortable. Scored two in second half injury time to close it out.

Think it's gonna be an unusually quiet transfer window - have brought Torres and Henriksen back in on loan, and made Caldirola's loan permanent at the end of last season. Other than selling a couple of youth players that's about it. Am considered selling Tim Cahill and Leon Osman and using the proceeds to make a move for Kaka, though, and wouldn't mind getting Owen Hargreaves in as midfield cover, but I'm pretty well-stocked in that department already.
