Tactical defending thats the only moan i have about fifa 12, mainly cos i can't do it, hope they patch so you can turn it off online and ultimate team, thats the only thing stopping me playing ultimate is tactical defending

not true. if you pick a 4 star or 4.5 star team and theres no one online at that very time with the same amount of stars.. you will get forced to play a 5 star team.

I simply cannot believe that the Player Impact Engine doesn't register off the ball fouls.

Sometimes I'll try a 1-2 pass, and the player who initially passed it will be deliberately bodychecked to prevent them making the run by the opposition (this happens online, not so much offline). Yet because they only ran into them and didn't press a tackle button, it doesn't count as a foul, even though it's basically a rugby tackle. Absolutely insane idea and more and more people seem to have cordoned onto it and are using it regularly.

Why is it that the ai on my team are completely incompetent, They have no awareness of what's going on around them , they can't tackle or pass. They play like an under 5 team with a hangover . I thought they would have sorted this . To sum it up FIFA 12 is a slightly polished version of 11 rubbish

My only real grumbles are the AI stupidity on your team and the fact the opposition score too easy(everytime) no matter overhead, volleys always the same result! And you see a problem before it happens but you end up controlling everyone but the player that could stop their attack before it begins.

With the teammates:
I was defending against 2 strikers and I had my back 4 back in a flat straight-line. I was blocking the strikers way forward, holding him up so a midfielder could come and swipe the ball away. Instead the other centre back(lcb) came over to 2on1 him and suddenly from no danger there's a 6foot shithouse with no marker and what do you know the computer slid the ball to his strike partner leaving me and my computer controlled teammate out the game, the left back hasn't read the danger and he's through 1on1 and scored!

Playing online winning 3-1 with 10 mins to go, suddenly the game disconnects. After the 'match report will be reviewed' message I find that I've lost? WHAT THE ACTUAL *bleep*

I'm doing a career and controlling only my virtual pro, with Celtic. The club have sold all the keepers and an attacking midfielder, Pasquale Foggia, is playing in goals. There isn't a keeper in the squad but they went and bought about 4 midfielder. I concede every match and I can't do anything about it. It's shite!
