This Tribes: Vengeance forum is dead, so let's bring some life to it.

Does anyone else play this game? I've had it since it was practically new, and it's one of the few games you can't get tired out. The new jetpacking ROCKS. Energy packs to make your jets charge faster, plus the 2 second hard boost they give you, wow.

The Grappler REALLY adds to the flying in the game. I mean, you can go SO high in this game, and fly SO fast, it's a real thrill to play. I don't know how much this game costs these days, but I would assume it's pretty cheap, and DEFINITELY worth buying.

Huge massive explosions, ships (large and small), tanks, land rovers, etc., all zipping around, bodies being mid-air disced 500 feet in the air, all at once, REALLY gives you an action packed feeling. You will NEVER get tired of the easy flying you can do, especially since you can hold Space Bar in and 'ski', allowing you to keep your momentum (or build more) while going down a hill. I can't explain all the great things about it, but buy this game, and see for yourself.

I found it in a bargain section at like $15...

The sales were pretty poor from what I understand, but there's a pretty good game here. The way you set yourself up, defending the base, and the thankless task of repairing the sensor or trying to kill that blasted Heavy sitting atop your base... It's a team effort more than anything. Nothing's better than taking on a challenge in a group, and most of the people on the servers are helpful or like having fun- and blasting you to bits, of course.

It's a pretty good game, especially for under 20 bucks.
