speculation Toads in Dark Moon

Anyone with knowledge of Luigi's Mansion knows that the Toads scattered about the Mansion well...lacked any sort of spine in the game. Sure, they were veiled as a save feature, after they were done sulking and throwing a tantrum. It seems as though Toad has slightly more significance in Dark Moon. According to gameplay videos, he assists Luigi with items in a room practically covered in ice.

Would you like to see Toad have a bit more purpose in the game aside from a simple save feature? I think it'd be great for him to serve as a sidekick through a few places in the mansion. I know it's a stretch, but I wouldn't mind seeing him get back at the ghosts that made him all depressed and useless.

It's good that they're helping now and then but I wouldn't like to see them having a major influence, because I think this would derail the game from its main point. Having a toad in every room helping luigi would give you the feeling that toads overcome luigi's fears and not himself.

I like the Toads too, and would like to see them do more, say, give hints now and then, but I dont want to see them giving major hints all the time.
