Super Smash Bros. as a whole has intertwined various Nintendo franchises and series on the same plane. To date, countless series have been shown: Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Pokémon, Donkey Kong, Star Fox, Pikmin, Fire Emblem, WarioWare, Kirby Super Star, Metroid, amongside various others like Golden Sun, Punch-Out!!, Sin & Punishment, Electroplankton, etc.
But there are still many series yet to be given a representation in any way whatsoever. This thread has been crafted to highlight those series. You bring up a series, no matter how obscure or bad, and tell us what you know about the series. It will then be for other repliers to critique the analysis and have their say on whether the series should be seen in the next Smash Bros. Since we're talking Nintendo here, any and all games published by them, irrespective of region, is accepted. I'm going to talk about another RPG, but this is an RPG series most of us should be familiar with:
*Final Fantasy

Genre: RPG
Profile: Final Fantasy is a J-RPG whose first game was released for the NES in 1987. It became a phenomenal success, and the series saw 14 games, not counting any remakes and compilations, and several spinoffs. Its main plot would involve bad guys stealing four crystals, each crystal representing one of the elements of water, wind, fire and earth, to use for their own personal gains. As the series evolved, the plots began to change. It, like many other RPGs, takes place in a huge overworld, and combines both magic and machines. One of the game's outstanding features is its music, which developers indieszero used to craft a Final Fantasy rhythm game. Various characters in the series made cameo appearances in Kingdom Hearts and Mario games, probably due to Square Enix's influence during development of the games in which they appear. With over 100 million units of the series sold worldwide, this is known as Square Enix's flagship RPG.
Games to date: 65
Since all of them can't possibly be mentioned, not forgetting that Nintendo-published games are being talked about, they will be filtered so that only Nintendo-published titles appear:
*Final Fantasy (NES)
*Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (GCN)
*Final Fantasy IV Advance (GBA)
*Final Fantasy V Advance (GBA)
*Final Fantasy VI Advance (GBA)
*Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (GBA)
*Final Fantasy I and II: Dawn of Souls (GBA)
Notable Characters & Functions:
*Cecil Harvey (Final Fantasy IV Advance)

Cecil Harvey is Final Fantasy IV's protagonist. In the game he was seen as a dark knight at the beginning.

At that point in time he was the captain of the Red Wings. After Rosa gets abducted by Golbez in Fabul, he goes after them. But the ship used in the process got swept up at sea, and he found himself at Mysidia, a town of mages. The people there despised him because he stole their crystal. When the town's elder hears of his plight, he tells him to scale Mt. Ordeals to acquire the power he needs to combat Golbez. When he finally got to the summit, he was successful in its test and became a paladin. From here on out he would be involved in many eventual circumstances. Later, he is discovered to have come from the moon (Man on the moon reference?). That is the place where another lunar inhabitant, Zemus, was imprisoned. Zemus planned to destroy the earth, so Cecil and a trusted group of allies went to the moon to stop his plans. They emerged victorious in the lethal battle, and he and Rosa would later become king and queen of Baron.
Cecil would be a playable character, using a diverse array of sword abilities and white magic to attack.
Special: Holy Slash
A chargeable move, this infuses Cecil's blade with holy power.
Special + ←/→: Rushing Slash
Cecil rushes a short distance in the direction he's facing and slashes.
Special + ↑: Teleport
Cecil teleports himself upwards.
Special + ↓: Reflect
This slightly reduces the damage received from physical and special attacks. It will not protect you against strong attacks, however.
Final Smash: Sky Grinder
Cecil and Kain will attack from the air. Cecil will leap up, and a target indicator will appear at his origin spot. The spot can be moved with the control stick. Some seconds later, Cecil and Kain will deliver a jump attack from above. This attack is will pass through any platforms (i.e. the ones you can pass through.)
NOTE: To be continued.
