The Best Super Smash Bros Roster in the World

Indeed, it would be the finest Smash Bros. lineup... if you completely overlook the fact that major characters are nowhere to be seen! Where's Mario? Luigi? Lucas? Pikachu? Jigglypuff? Ness? Captain Falcon? Olimar? Mr. Game & Watch? That roster excludes many familiars and veterans that already belong to the series. And as much as I want to see new characters... I'm afraid I'm not too familiar with like 1/3rd of the characters in that roster. And finally... too many 3rd-parties. Even for such a roster, A Smash Bros. game would have no more than 4 3rd-parties. And not just any 3rd-parties, popular ones. Sure, there's Megaman, Final Fantasy characters (Kefka, now? He's not too shabby... but I'd take Golbez, Remedi or Sabin. The last guy's not a villain.)...But a huge fraction of the 3rd-party characters are very improbable to appear, initially or locked.

Sure, it's a fantasy roster, but I don't believe that such a roster does Smash Bros. justice. Maybe I'll wait and see what screenshots await us at E3 2013.

Where's Ness, Lucas, Porky/Pokey and maybe Jeff? Think about the Mother series too...

As you can see this is the best roster in the world, its a fantasy roster, but if it was real, if Sakurai annonced this as the roster of characters it would be the best roster ever.

No, it's a bad, over-inflated roster. Needs to cut on the huge amount of unimportant characters.

Had the first part centered on her, helped do for Daein what Ike did for Crimea, become somewhat of an antagonist for a bit from Ike's perspective, and led alongside him against Ashera while being possessed by Yune.

of course she is a main character in Radiant dawn(even though Ike is ultimately the more important one,being the main character of the 3rd part,which is the most plot-relevant and being the hero at the end to save the day),but overall micaiah is unimportant,being a main character in only one game,where she had to share the role of the main character with someone else(who is more popular than her and a main character in another game)

I did concede to the fact that she isn't that important to the franchise as a whole and I full well know Ike pretty much stole the show and overshadows her by a significant margin. I'm just saying the role she did play isn't unimportant.

However her being important to one game doesn't make her important enough to be in smash.

With how Fire Emblem's set up like Final Fantasy, it shouldn't matter if a main character has only been in one game, so it that isn't really fair to say when a ton of people still want Roy back. Besides, Micaiah's role is more than I can say about bloody Lyn. I haven't played all of FE7, but from what I heard all she is a forced tutorial character who is just kinda there after her part's over.

However since the fire emblem series does have a few returning characters,makes those especially outstanding.

I also doubt lyn,because like you said,she is only relevant for the first part of the game,however she is still the first main character of any fe game to be released outside japan and she is quite popular too(and more or less the face of FE7,cause eliwood didn't make it as dlc for awakening and is only introduced later after lyns part is over).

And many people want roy,because he was in melee,the thing is however,that roy was only in melee because they wanted to advertise his game(that isn't possible anymore,neither with him,nor micaiah).His game was also the one to revive the fire emblem series.
However thanks to him being in melee,he is probably one of the most popular fe-charas of all time.

Overall the reason why I said micaiah would be rather unimportant is because she is the only fe-chara on the list and she is rather unimportant compared to ike and marth,who are both iconic characters for the series as a whole.
Compared to other main characters micaiah isn't unimportant,but she doesn't stand out either.
Another problem I could see with her is that she is another tellius character,including her would give radiant dawn,a single game, 2 characters,with other main characters they can cover more games.
