Reasons Why Iris Should Be Isaac's Final Smash

There is a really good reason why.

Just like Din, Farore, and Nayru are the goddesses that of the Trifroce, Iris is the goddess of the Golden Sun, just look at the animation in Dark Dawn and you will see that she actually uses the Golden Sun as a power source to damage enemies and heal Isaac's team.

So therefore Iris must be important to the Golden Sun series if she is a goddess within the Golden Sun itself, so therefore Isaac should have her as a final smash.

Also lets not forget that Camelot was inspired by Zelda to make Golden Sun, so having a similar element like that wouldn't surprise me.

There was a interview in a Nintendo Power with Camelot where Camelot told NP that they were inspired by Zelda, and it's quite obvious that Iris is a goddess, and she is using the Golden Sun's power to help Isaac and his friends and descendants, its not confirmed, but so what, its obvious.

I think I know enough about Golden Sun to actually say this could be a fact, I did alot of research and put alot of facts together.

Also why is such a powerful guy like Dullahan guarding Iris's power that is hidden away?

Also the when Alex claimed some of the Golden Sun's power, the Wise One said he failed to obtain all of it, some of was given to Isaac, so who gave him this power? Iris, goddess of the Golden Sun, who foreseen Alex's evil intentions, so she chose Isaac to hold a piece of it in hopes that he can stop Alex.

Also whenever you beat Lost Age, you probably have the Iris summon after you beat the Doom Dragon.

Another thing Iris might secretly be the Wise One, the Wise One is merely a philosopher's stone, but I think Iris, who apparently has been keeping alchemy sealed away, is actually the Wise One, because it seems like there is a deity that uses the Wise One as a way to communicate with the heroes of Weyard.

Another thing, Iris is the ultimate Golden Sun attack, it's above all psynergy, summons, weapon releases, monster psynergy, and Djinn attacks making it the most powerful attack in the GS series, making it perfect for being a final smash.

Judgement really isn't important to the series overall, it's not as powerful as Iris, since Iris is the most powerful summon, and Judgement doesn't relate to the Golden Sun itself, unlike Iris, in which there's a high possibility that Iris is the goddess that created the Golden Sun.

What does Judgement do that makes him important to the series?

Answer: Nothing really except if you need to beat a boss that is weak to the Venus element, so in that boss fight you spam Judgement to beat that boss, but anything important to the overall series, Judgement has nothing important.

Guess what, I use Cybele to beat such bosses for my personal preference, and because the only reason I don't like Judgement is because I don't want it to be Isaac's final smash, when there is something better with the Iris final smash.

Besides, what's Judgement going to do, lay an egg?

Another thing, Judgement is too easy to dodge, all you have to do is jump, then since its a earth type summon, it will miss.

Iris will most likely hit the opponent almost all the time, and will definately result in a ko.

I'd rather have Move as Isaac's final smash.

As for Oddysey, I'm for that one if they wanted to not have a summon to be Isaac's final smash.

Djinn are nothing, but tools to help adepts become more powerful, nothing more, if anything Djinn will be a item.

However the only Djinn that seems to even have a importance is Flint, and I think he should maybe be in Isaac's moveset somewhere, not a final smash.

Using the Iris with the Golden Sun's power isn't overpowering Isaac, since Link can use the Triforce in Brawl to power up the Master Sword.

There is nothing more iconic in Golden Sun than the Golden Sun itself, and who's the goddess that created the Golden Sun and all of Weyard, Iris.

If none of you believe Iris is good enough, well,

Iris destroy the non believers with your great power!

Interesting... I haven't yet played Dark Dawn, but I did see that in the Lost Age. But perhaps she shouldn't be a Final Smash. Imagine how overpowered Isaac'll be if that were so. More manageable idea? Judgment. Iris is better off as an Assist Trophy.

its never been confirmed that she is the goddess of the golden sun or anything like that,so as long there is no need for the developers to assume the same thing.

Not to mention that she is one of the less known summons,as she is a bonus summon and the way of obtaining her make her the most unnecessary summon in the game(because if you were able to defeat dullahan,it means you can beat every other boss in the game without her as well)

now lets look at judgements plus points:
+its an earth summon,so it matches isaacs personal element
+it was in all three games
+it isn't hidden in the game,so even players who miss the optional summons,will know it
+overall it is one of the most iconic summons,partly because it was one of the strongest summons in the first game(i mean just look at it,it is so iconic,that it got an alternate version of itself in the form of catastrophe,so it is technically the only summon you can summon in two different ways)

What do we have on the negative side?

Isaac's FS shoud either be Judjement or Oddesy

I think this thread is pretty pointless,it is obvious that zakk just hates judgement and just tries to make up arguements against him.

However cool Iris may be, she isn't all that iconic to the series.
That said, I'd rather see her being in SSB4 than Judgment (because she's friggin' awesome), but if looking at it from a objective point of view, it's clear Judgment makes a much bigger chance of being Isaac's Final Smash than Iris will ever have.
As for having Megiddo as Final Smash, it would be awesome - and not sure whether I'd prefer Iris or Megiddo because they're both so cool - but let's face it: Judgment still has the advantage of being the single most iconic summon in the game.
Personally I don't care all that much Judgment (maybe because The Lost Age was my first Golden Sun game), I find Catastrophe to be Judgment's bigger and better version; can't argue with the lightning. Lightning dragons! For frigg sake! How much cooler can you get than that? You can't, that's the only answer.

Subjective conclusion: Catastrophe is clearly the most professional butt kicker from the Golden Sun franchise.
Objective conclusion: It's gonna be Judgment, cause it's the most iconic.
Final statement: Iris has nothing to do with the Golden Sun. She dumps enemies into the regular sun, it has nothing to do with the Golden Sun itself.
