Recovery issues - Page 3

I know it doesn't really count as recovery, but I loved how Marth could effectively use his >B to get back closer to the stage in Melee. But they removed it in Brawl. I guess it was considered an exploit.

Less time? I think Pit's Wings of Icarus should have more time. It was far too easy to edgeguard against, and IIRC making a lot of directional changes cut down the active time.

Giving every character the same recovery abilities is an awful idea. This isn't Marvel vs. Capcom, where every character has the same identical set of core attributes. In Smash, every character has strong and weak attributes, and the contrasts and balances between these are what make the characters unique, and the game so interesting.

Although I do think that Wings of Icarus' duration time is fine the way it is.

Well, maybe not longer, but am I remembering right? Is it hard to do complex movements and turns without ending it early?

I don't have a problem with it at all. I think his flying duration time is good enough tbh.

If your good with him you can pretty much fly anywhere you wan't to.

Look at it this way, Pwnage Master, Pit's recovery is good for Subspace Emissary where you can break a level if you wanted to.

I don't do that all the time, but if I wanted to complete a quick task such as unlocking a character or getting a boss trophy, I use him then.
