Nintendo Hierarchy - Page 2

I feel f-zero should be much lower, that series hasn't seen a release in quite some time now. Everything else looks quite accurate though. It's a bit annoying that ninetndo is doing so much mario, I'm getting a bit tired of it. I want to see some more star fox.

My hierachy would be:
A-tier:
Mario
I don't think I need to say anything for that

B-Tier
Pokemon
Zelda
Well they are definetly the most important after mario.Pokemon is more important but looking at brawl and melee it looks like they are treated even.

C-Tier
Kirby
Donkey Kong
Starfox
Fire emblem
Metroid
Normally I would place starfox lower,since it didn't have any good games for some time and the last one was a remake.But looking at brawl it is clear,that they are still treated rather big(which might be because even though starfox hasn't so many games it is still one of the more succesfull series).DK is also a series that is underestimated by many,as it is nintendos 4th best selling franchise(out of the ones who are already in brawl)
Metroid is so low,because it isn't a really big hit in japan.

D-Tier
Pikmin
Kid icarus
Wario ware
Pikmin is a good series with an upcoming game,so it is rather high(it won't get a new rep though),all of the others are not that important but also got new games recently.The wario ware series would be probably higher if it had more to do with fighting and wouldn't be a spinoff of the mario series.kid icarus was made by sakurai,so that boosts it status a little bit more.

E-Tier
Mother
F-Zero
Yoshis island
All of these series didn't get new games in the last years.There are some information about a yoshi game coming for wiiu,but the yoshi series is probably too much connected to the mario series.

F-Tier
Ice-climbers,Mr.G&W,ROB,Third parties
These guys are more like bonus characters and will always have only one character and one stage.

I didn't mean nintendo itself,but rather sakurai.
I mean if we look at the starfox series normally,it should be fine with 2 characters,since it isn't that big(it is successful though),but it got a third character in brawl and is currently one of the series with the second most characters.

Actually we are looking at Nintendo and not Sakurai.

A Sakruai list could be another tier list. Something to do after we get this done.

ah okay I thought you meant tier list in terms of importance of the series for smash bros.

BlueLore: If we went by what Sakurai thought, Kirby and Kid Icarus would be in A Tier with Mario. Just because he was the one who made Kid Icarus and he helped work on a lot of the Kirby games. xD
