Who needs regular characters, anyway? There's always new arrivals to the series (Ghirahim, yay!)

List of possible Zelda characters:

Groose
Ghirahim
Zant
Vaati(what's up with all these villians?)
Skull Kid(another villain...)

The problem with those guys is that they are,as you say new arrivals at the series.
Aside from the Ice climbers,Roy and the Mother-characters there isn't a single character in the entire smash bros franchise who appeared in only one game(and in the case of the IC it is justified,since they had just a single game,the Mother series doesn't have recurring protagonists and Roy was in the game as advertisement,which can't be done with any of those characers anymore when ssb4 comes out)
Sure Vaati and skull kid appeared both in 3 games,but those games are rather old and 3 is merely a fifth of the zelda games

Guys, you know that I wasn't serious about 5 characters for each series, but merely just wondering how the roster would look.

I know for a fact only three series could possibly get 5 characters, like Gotenks said, Mario, Zelda and Pokemon.

I was merely fantasizing a roster with 5 characters from each roster and wondering, well what would it look like

About Zelda characters, I would like to play as a Zora so why not put the Zora mask, Goron mask and Deku mask as transformations for Link?
