Regarding Alex Harmon's idea:
Really?
Confusing concept, to be honest. All the good guys summoned by some new character (Does mental recallation of all characters that can summon...
...
... ... ......
I've got some Final Fantasy characters, All playable people from Golden Sun and its sequel, and Fomortiis from Fire Emblem, the Sacred Stones. You wouldn't mind clarifying that issue, would you?), on a "new" planet (Many people, exclusion of moi, HATED SubSpace. The mode had unassociable adversaries, its plot development couldn't be grapsed, and most important of all, it took place in a world that had NO bearing on classic Nintendo franchises. Is the planet you're thinking of a StarFox or Galaxy planet? ...Nah, the story would be sick, in the literal sense, if the story took place on only one planet.)? And you said that a bunch of bad guys were trying to form a perfect way to overthrow the Earth (If there's something I know about bad guys, it's that they're scheming, backstabbing ones. Proof? Look at Ganondorf. So what do you think would happen when the "bunch of bad guys" succeed in their "perfect way to overtake the planet"?) And tell me why the main boss comes from Zelda, and he's a character who seems less important than Ghirahim, and a character who's popped up in only one game? And an Eggman robot? Seriously? Sakurai did mention that just inserting 3rd-party characters will lose the focus of the game. And he wanted a roster close to Brawl's size (Someone tell me where the variety will be in that.). And finally, people want the story mirrored after (just) Nintendo characters. Is there any problem in using a Lash invention, a Metroid cyborg or a Dr. Crygor robot gone berserk?
