What if the story was molded after the 3 legendary Pokémon of Sinnoh: Dialga, Palkia and Giratina? The story could take place in parts; The Dialga and Palkia events could take place in simultaneously occuring, but separate, Part 1's. After clearing both, Part 2 can be played, which will feature Giratina. Afterwards a third part will unlock, starring Arceus the Alpha Pokémon. All will culminate in a final Part 4, where Tabuu returns, and he will be stronger than before.

How about this one, a story modeled after Zelda so everyone likes because everyone would be trying to obain the Triforce that Tabuu has, but then after beating him the player learns that the Triforce that Tabuu was holding was a fake he created out of alchemy.

I was thinking, the characters would fall through these portal like things, and they end up in a different character's world. Say, Link drops from the sky, like in Skyward Sword, but where the hole in the clouds is supposed to be, there's a portal instead. When he falls through it, he ends up in, say, Dark Lord Gaol's Castle instead. Pit, who was flying back up to Skyworld, goes through a portal as well, and ends up in Skyloft.

Do you guys think it would be a better idea to put everyone on a different world, or (for series' with more than one contender) have one brawler from that world left there to find the person (say Zelda finds Pit, or Magnus[I still like the idea of Magnus better than Palutena] finds Link.)

To BlueLore: Unless it may be spelt that way where you come from, the Pokémon's name is spelt Kyurem;
K-Y-U-R-E-M. The U comes before the R. And while Reshiram and Zekrom are popular Legendaries, I don't see what quality about them could be used in the story mode. I suggested Dialga & Palkia because time & space exert much influence upon our lives. They may very well be factors many people take for granted. And they could be factors which can be destructive should they be known how to be manipulated to someone's will.
And To Swampasaur and Reflekt: If individual characters were given individual stories, wouldn't that defeat the purpose of a story mode at all? I mean, not too many characters could feature in any one story, and I think the aim of a Smash Bros. story is to intertwine the universes of the Nintendo franchises and get the characters to unite their strengths to achieve a common goal. (Oh, and that Street Fighter thingy you mentioned in your latest post, Reflekt? Most of the characters in that game couldn't care less about the existence of other characters at all.) Anyways, as much as I'd love to unfold how the rest of my story idea continues, I don't think I may be motivated to continue until my most recent idea gets enough comments and criticisms. So get reading and lay it on me what you think!
