New Items

I can't believe this hasn't been brought up recently.

So which new items do you think will be in SSB4?

I would love to see the return of the red shell and the parasol.

How about this for a new item?

Psyengery Stone (Golden Sun): While holding this stone characters gain the ability to float in place using phychic powers. The character would not be able to move left or right, but they could attack mulitple times in the same spot.

The idea about the kid icarus weapons is quite good and I think that the next smash bros will replace the fire work cannon with the one from urpising or with another cannon from uprising(like the twinbellows cannon).

Uprising also has a variety of different items for its multiplayer which could also be included in the smash bros series,like the poison mist,who could be thrown and creates a poisonous cloud that damages enemies,or the eggplant-bomb that turns enemies into helpless eggplants for a short time^^

I always just sold the attack items in golden sun.

I think the Raccoon Tail Leaf is a shoe in for the game, giving whoever grabs it a Raccoon Tail/Ear combo or even a full on Tanooki suit. The player would have a floaty multijump, the ability to glide, and replace their b move with a spin attack that reflects projectiles for a short time.

I could also see the Beetle from Skyward Sword show up. Grabbing it would allow you to launch the Beetle which would act in a way similar to Ness' PK Thunder.

while transformation items sound cool,I can't imagine them,since the developers would have to either create a form for every character or have the character to transform into a regular zora,goron,likelike,etc.,which could make them weaker than they originally were.

maybe a bottle with a fairy.
You could throw it to release the fairy,who heals the first person it touches(so if you have it you should throw the bottle down,so that the enemy doesn't get the fairy).
But if someone who carries the bottle gets ko'd he returns to the stage,without losing a life.
Of course the downside of holding to the bottle the whole time is that you can barely attack with it in the hand,since it is a throwing item.

I'd rather have the eggplant wizard as an AT.

How about blue shells from Mario Kart? They would go after the guy in first and create a smart bomb style explosion.

Instead of assist trophies acting like pokeballs, we could equip them to each charater then unleash them in battle to assist whatever character we're using and the best part we get to choose what assist trophies to equip to each character.

How about a Bowser Shell from Double Dash?

Or better how about a Giga Bowser Shell!

It was just an idea for the assist trophies, to be honest I'm acually cool with how they are now, besides the bad thing about my idea is everybody will spam like one or two of their favorate assist trophies on every character they use, now that would be quite lame.

Although they should remove a few lame assist trophies like Tingle or the Nintendog or that flying underwear beast that moves the screen, who is that and what game is he from?

How about another helping item like the assist trophies

Golden Sun Summons

There are alot of cool Golden Sun Summons and these wouldn't make good assist trophies conidering I'd rather see characters like Saturos and Menardi and Jenna as Golden Sun assist trophies, so why not make Golden Sun Summons a new pokeball like assist item?

Some of the summons could include

Dullahan: like the Call Dullahan Psynergy

Iris: she is the ultimate Golden Sun summon so therefore she should be included

Charon: the summon that Dullahan uses in battle

Catastrophy: this suumon is just down right awesome

Meteor Blow: the ultimate Mars summon

Doom Dragon: I think this could be used for a summon even though he was a end boss, I'll just list him because seeing him being summoned and using Cruel Rain would be cool looking, especially on the Wii U version.

these are just a few examples, there are many others I didn't list, but if this was an item they would acually put all Golden Sun summons in to use for this it, like I said it would be like the pokeballs and assist trophies, except it's a new item.

Although this could swap the idea of Isaac's final smash being a summon like Judgement for Megiddo, which I personally think that would be a better idea than putting only one Golden Sun summon in the game which would be Isaac's final smash.

NOBODY TOUCH MY NINTENDOG!!! I mean look at him.

He's freaking adorable, besides ATs are made to give characters that would not work as playable ones a chance to shine. The Nintendogs series is really popular. I say give keep him in. Same goes for Tingle and the Devil.

And could we return the discussion to normal items please

How about third party items? Should MGS and Sonic have some?
