SSB4 May Not Feature New Characters - Page 4

Just hopefully, they won't purposely remove features from the game, then later add them as DLC and charge. Other game companies have done that before. But knowing Nintendo, they probably won't do that.

As long as I have Ganondorf, Zelda and Isaac to play as, then I don't care what they do with the roster.

Well I'm guessing a golden sun rep is from Kid Icarus and yes it does have only one character and im sure pit is lonley. But there is another perspective, he has so many people he would want to please by adding new characteres. I personaly would LOVE to see another Earthbound/Mother Character seeing as there was only three games and here in the US we only got one game. They still make Kid Iccarus content and one came out recently for the DS So thats my two cents take em or leave em

Anyway I knew Sakurai would put new characters in, I had faith in him.

I wonder what new characters he confirmed?

On a different note, how many new characters do you think he will add? It doesn't sound like a lot.

Do I need glasses or is that title reading what I see it reading? SSB4 May Not Feature New Characters? That must be an euphenism for the game's title, if it was to be called "Super Smash Bros. Brawl DX". And on the back of the box you'd see stuff like "All Brawl characters return with new moves!" "Expanded SubSpace Emissary!" "Improved Stages!" ... and all that stuff.
Characters do form an integral part of any fighting game. The right amount of characters, and the right set of moves, can make for a prime fighting game. (Anyone played Tournament of Legends? Good game, but I can't believe how cheapskate-y High Voltage was with the character roster and weapon choices! Which is why if a 2nd game comes out, all those problems must be addressed. But it really shouldn't be a concern to anyone, now should it?) Say there was a pie chart for things that mattered in a fighting game. Characters would take up about 65% of the chart! 15% could be the stages. I believe these are the major factors of a fighting game. The remaining 20% can be other content. And on the issue of DLC... If you've played Soulcalibur 4, you may very well be miffed at the fact that some 3 characters were mimics. And you were hoping that booted characters would feature as DLC. If so, wouldn't they be copies as well? New movesets and fighting styles after the finished game = unbalance. So when all is said, some newbies should feature, because they deserve to, and a SSB4 without any new characters may be a remake of Brawl. And if there's to be DLC, shouldn't it be for one-of-a-kind trophies and stickers, which can be bought with in-game cash?
