Female Characters on the Roster

Ok I think this needs pointed out, too many guys bearly any female character reps.
My philosiphy is that every frachise in Super Smash Bros needs there own Zelda or Peach.
I also must point out that Super Smash Bros series has the least playable females of any fighting game, for example look at the roster on Tekken 6 or Soul Calibur 4, there is alot of chicks on those rosters and lets not forget that Tekken back in the day only had one or two female fighters.
I'm going to list a few female characters that should be each series' Zelda.
Mario: Peach of course
Donkey Kong: I think they should add Dixie Kong as Diddy's partner and have a Ice Climer mechanic for them.
Warioware: ether Ashley or Mona,I'll take ether over none.
Lengend of Zelda: Zelda, my current favorate female character in smash.
Toon Zelda series: Toon Zelda since she was going to be in Brawl any way.
Metroid: Samus, duh.
Starfox: Krystal
Pokemon: Female Pokemon Trainer
Sonic: Amy Rose
Golden Sun: Mia
Fire Emblem: Caeda or Michaiah
Earthbound: Paula, replace Lucas with her.
Metal Gear Solid: Mei Ling maybe, I don't know
What does Sakurai have against female characters, there is just as many female gamers that play
Super Smash Bros as there is guys, bring on the Super Smash Sisters!

Smash definitely needs more female characters. The problem is that, Smash usually incorporates the most important characters in the series and usually those spots go to males or animal like characters. I would love to have more females in smash, but we have to remember that unless the main character of the series is female (like Metroid), it's going to be a while before we get a female character from that series.

That aside, I would love to play as Krystal or a female Pokemon Trainer.

I really wouldn't want Diddy Kong to be paired up with Dixie Kong to be like the Ice Climbers. I much rather would have Diddy Kong stay as his own character and Dixie be her own as well. Her ponytail whirl would be great for her recovery.

We really don't need three characters from Earthbound imo NB. I never saw why they added two characters for the series anyways,

Yeah, Diddy is super fun alone. Dixie would probably have some moves for a moveset anyways.

Also, I didn't have a problem with them adding Lucas. The more the merrier to me, unless the character they put in is kind of lame. Like if they would put in Slippy or something. I've never played any of the Earthbound games, but yeah you're right. I guess two is fine. But I haven't played the series, so I dunno.

In games like Soul Caliber I use females mainly, I think most of the guys are lame in SC.
[Yeah those guys on Soul Calibur are pretty lame, My favorates are Cassandra and Tira, I love when Tira calls everyone a dummy.]

Maybe Sakurai prefers alot of guys?

Sakurai wouldn't even add Ribbon from Kirby 64,
a female character from his prized frachise Kirby, what's up with that?

The problem with adding more females is that there are just less of them in general, and less of them that fight. The only plausible(to my mind) suggestion of yours was a Fire Emblem character, but I think that if there is another character from FE, they shouldn't wield a sword. FE has 3 weapon types( without bows or magic, of course), but of those, only swords have been used. And FE females are known for being Mounted or sword using or magic. The only choices left are pretty much all spear, like Nephenee or Amelia, and then we'd have to make do with Recruit level Amelia and such because double jumping as a General would seem silly. As a side note, when you think about it, all of the Pokemon could be considered female, so that's 5 more females.

Yeah, I would rather have King K Rool as well since Dixie can always be playable in various DK titles.
I wouldn't mind Dixie as an assist.
Oh and is there any chance of Medusa or Palutena being in Super Smash Bros 4?
