Having said that, I do feel as everyone will return. Sakurai seems to think fondly of Snake and Sonic and as such, probably wouldn't mind them returning (and you bet that Sega and Konami want them back). As for Ike and Lucario, both are important to their respective series (especially Lucario who saw a ton of promotion) and were highly requested; not to mention that what newcomers Fire Emblem and Pokémon does offer can't measure up to Ike and Lucario. Roy and Mewtwo will most likely be the (re)additions made. I doubt they'll let roy return before ike. Ike is the second most iconic fire emblem character,his games are the most popular in the west,the only one after marth to play a major role in more than one game and gets even a little special treatment in Awakening(the only one who gets a more important role is marth himself). Never said anything about Roy having a better chance than Ike, just that I see Roy being the most likely addition for Fire Emblem. That does not mean I think he is more likely than Ike.

	Lucario. As much as I like him as a playable character, he was there to represent the newest generation which was, at the time, Generation IV. I can easily see him being replaced by Zoroark or maybe even a 6th generation Pokemon. I'm thinking Zoroark would be more likely, with Gen VI coming later in the year, but who knows. I'm not sure how I feel about Ike. He has so much more going for him than Roy did, being his own character and all. I like Roy, but he was just a clone in Melee. I'd hate to see Ike go, but I fear he might be getting the axe in favor of Krom, Micaiah, or another newer Fire Emblem representative. I really hope they decide to keep Ike, and just add Micaiah as a third Fire Emblem character.
