The homerun bat and the hammer should be done away with. Aww hell, they can be turned of, but still, both are way too overpowered if you ask me.

They could replace the hammer with smaller, tossable hammers.

I never even understood why they took that out. It was one of my favorites in Melee.

If Mario Kart 3DS has new items, then we could see some of them. Or ones from Super Mario 3DS.

Overpowered, but fun. Not competitively perhaps, but certainly when you're mucking around. The Hammer gave my friends and I many nights of good laughs.

I'd also like to see the cloaking device return.

Map-wide devastation, haha.

IMO, Hammers were terrible items in Brawl. They didn't do much damage, and they took away your second jump and recovery. Not to mention the fact that you were much slower whilst using it.
And top it all off, the head could break off.

The Golden Hammer was a lot better.

I hope that all of the items from Brawl stay. Agreeing with the Cloaking Device needing to return.

The head from the hammer may have broken at times, but it was powerful when thrown.

No one will be able to survive.

I make sure to get to that hammer head before it disappears.
