343 Industries has calmed fears pertaining to the Halo 4's campaign length.

Halo 4's recently revealed Achievement list showcased just eight missions for the shooter. However, 343 Industries' franchise development director Frank O'Connor said the amount of missions doesn't mean they won't be substantial in length. He assured that it's a "Halo sized campaign", as well as mentioning the inclusion of Spartan Ops.

Designer David Ellis added that Spartan Ops alone is apparantly longer than Halo 3: ODST. He also states that the game's main campaign will compare "favourably" with past installments in the franchise.

"[Spartan Ops] season alone is longer than [Halo 3: ODST]. Spartan Ops and Campaign are completely separate teams. As Frank mentioned earlier, the main campaign is substantial and will compare favourably with previous entries in the series."

Halo 4 is due for a worldwide release on November 6.
