Well, if Forge was added to Black Ops, then it would be more like Far Cry 2. Which I wouldn't mind. Because I make some bada-s f--kawesome maps on every map maker that I get into.

Why would a Black Ops map editor be like The Far Cry 2 world builder?

Think about it: To have as many ways to create a battlefield, what has always stood at the epitome of map creation? Far Cry. If Activision or Infinity Ward were to get people sucked into it, then they are either gonna try to beat it in as many ways as possible, or copy it.

I haven't seen the tail end of page 2 of the thread yet, but guys. Why are you arguing about defninitions and dictionaries.

I personally wouldn't like the ability to go prone in Halo 4. People complain that armor abilities slow down gameplay, what do you think that laying down flat and moving maybe half a mile an hour would do to the pace of the match?

I'm not so sure on that one. I don't think people complain that armour abilities slow gametypes down. I think that the vast majority of people who complain about armour abilities are just people who don't like the fact that Halo has changed since Halo 2/3. You're always gonna have people who whine for the sake of whining, just because they can't get over the fact that Bungie didn't just churn out Halo 3 with new maps and weapons. Which, I might add, would attract just as much criticism from the exact same people.

you can't go prone in Battlefield, in fact there's only a handful of games in which you can, most games just stop at crouching...

Going prone in halo? *bleep* that shit!

Sorry mate, it's an understandable suggestion, but it would really deter from the pace of the game and as has been said, when you have shields it wouldn't be that necessary.

Still my first comment was an exaggeration here. If it was campaign-only or in SWAT, I can see it having its merits. But I'd hate to see it anywhere near competitive matchmaking.

Yes, because presenting your head in a one shot kill game mode is an excellent idea.

Prone works quite well in CoD. Because it's slightly different to the normal standing position, it can mean people miss the head and go for body shots instead, which is certainly useful in swat.
