Rise of Nations Corruption

Rise of Nations is displaying strangely on my computer, it's probably a graphics card problem. I've yet to find any other people posting about the same issue as me. I use an Acer with Windows 7 (I know, I know) and the game runs smoothly, but tooltips and notifications will not display if a game object is not beneath it, mountains display improperly and don't react to lighting (They always stay illuminated in dark areas), and if I don't open up my resources tab, a black box covers my food and timber amounts, but still shows the food and timber icons. I can post screenshots if need be.
