The Wrestling Game

Oi oi wrestling fans, how about trying your hand at role-playing instead of just lurking around all day. We're, and by we I mean myself, Disenchanted and Jaffers, are setting up an RP in the Interactive Role-Playing Forum. Always complaining about how TNA or the WWE use one of your favourite superstars? You can change that, here's how.

Want a quick run down of TWG? You can pick up a character, anybody not already on the roster, and basically control them. Switch up their gimmick, use their real name and all that jazz. Y'know, total creative control. Then you RP as that character against your opponent you've been assigned on the card. Winners are judged on who has done better that week. It's hard to explain the whole idea without making it sound boring. Here's an example, it's probably best reading through it and seeing how it's done.

Everybody is welcome to join. Interacting with other members to creative unique and fun storylines is when things start to get interesting. Instead of sitting around and competing against random opponents week in week out, to really earn your spot on the roster and move up the ranks, looking to break into the main event and eventually earn a title shot, you and a friend/member bounce ideas off each other and come up with a weekly storyline that keeps everybody guessing. Storylines are definitely encouraged and will benefit you hugely. No point suiting your character up with a totally awesome gimmick if he's not going to be able to use it to it's full advantage. Joint RP's, segments, in-ring promos, anything you can think off.

This time around we've thrown in an extra perk. You are allowed to control a Tag Team/Stable.
