The latest video for stealth game Hitman: Absolution dives into a rarely explored subject in games: audio. From the dialogue to the score and everything in between, it does a reasonable job of explaining why this element is important to the game.

Of particular note is the approach to the score, which aims to mash together "Hollywood epicness" with raw grittiness. As well, there's the dialogue, which the team says absolutely must be believable -- as such, they've gone all out and recreated whole conversations inside a motion and audio capture studio, with actors in the same room for that natural feel (something rarely done, sadly).
