Killing Jorda

This may make me a evil person, but i love seeing how many ways that girl can die, lol. my favourite, is in the beginning, when you have to extend the bridge, so she can get across from the other side; when i reach my hand out to catch her, she leaps, but i retract my hand and step back. . .then there she goes, falling, falling, falling, etc. lol

what ways have you tried to. . .*get rid*. . .of her?

re: Killing Jorda

I didn't know you could kill her, but you can make her gasp in fear by hitting somthing nearby. Heh, heh, heh...
Also you can hit her...
Spoiler????......

right at the end when she turns to stone or something, but it dosen't hurt her then. Still satisfying though...

How could you even think about hurting Yorda?

When she says "it no good" and "Ganai" for the five hundreth time, it is quite easy!

I could never hurt Yorda. It would be like hurting a family member...

Yorda can talk DURING gameplay?

I hear "Inoco" (like a longer version of "Ico" ) and (more appropriate this) "Nada" when she won't do a particular jump.

Aya_Chan, obviously you never left the game idle for a long time, or tried to get Yorda to do something she clearly couldn't. It has nothing to do with what version you're using.

re: Killing Jorda

Shes never said anything for me either if i want her to do a jump thats to far for her she'll just run to the edge of where i want her to jump from then turn around and run away a little. same for a jump thats to high, she just leaves if she cant do it. shes never said anything or made any noise during gameplay other than groans and crap after she jumps.

re: Killing Jorda

Turns out I was wrong! According to one of the FAQs, Yorda talking is only in the PAL/Europe version! I can't believe it.

It's true, she doesn't talk at all outside of scenes

I just like to scare her by hitting the walls. It's fun!!

re: Killing Jorda

That is completely and totally unfair that the U.S. Version has so many feature cuts. I was getting so excited when I heard about the theater, dual player and light sabre cheats but my hopes were CRUSHED when I found about about PAL.

'Tis true that the princess does not speak in my American version, but she does gasp a whole lot. Now, what about what Ico is saying when he calls her? My best friend and I came up with "foose ball", "hooplah" and "bon swa" (or however you spell that French phrase) as variables to what it sounds like he's saying.

re: Killing Jorda

Yeah, I was always bummed that I couldn't see the two of them eating watermelon on the beach. ::sigh::
Anyway, I always thought that Ico (when Yorda was close) said something like "unpa" or "untba" and when she was far away said "ba", but only being the equivalent of "Hey!"
