Sony has confirmed that ICO HD will soon be playable on the PlayStation Vita.
Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida had showcased an image of ICO running on the PlayStation Vita, with accompanying text reading, "!?". He later confirmed that he was teasing fans and that the PlayStation 2 masterpiece will indeed be playable on the handheld "soon.
"Sorry to tease you, I was play testing Ico HD Remote Play on PS Vita. We are almost ready with a patch. Beautiful on OLED."
As for the image Yoshida showed, it was confirmed to be running at a resolution of 852×480, with the PlayStation Vita's native resolution being 960 x 544.
Earlier this year, the firm teased Remote Play for titles such as ICO's predecessor Shadow of the Colossus, as well as God of War and God of War 2.
