You have to constantly change your training patterns otherwise your stats will go down. The best way I've found is to focus on something (say technique) until an attribute goes down (say physical), then I switch and start training on the attribute that just went down. When physical goes back up I'll go back to technique until I get to a number I'm happy with and then change to speed or something. But yeah, the key is to change your training habits often.
