Thanks Bs, I finally started tasting the sweetness of the game after several months of mourning. Struck the right balance between attack and defense. Shooting still not as enjoyable as PES 2011 but no stupid complaints like ball goes the opposite way of where I shoot etc. Keepers doing decent job, the best in PES series so far. The depth in the game is incredible. Every minute of frustration is worth it coz I am really loving the game and dying to go back to home after work to play it.

I'm glad to hear it's paying off, kishore! I should be getting the game myself in the next week or two so I'm sure I'll be going through all the same frustration myself then. I've definitely been there on the recent games though, so I know what it's like!

In the 2010 version of pes you could play a konami cup which was basically a world cup with the option to pick club teams as well as national teams. Is this possible to do in this version or does anyone know if there is a patch available to make this happen?

I dont seem to be eligable for this cup and was wondering does anyone know how I could sign up for this as i have a fb but cant find where i can register for it :-(

Sadly, I think the Konami Cup is no longer in the game, along with the random selection Exhibition matches (two of the most fun parts of the offline game that I've no idea why they were removed). I think you can do something similar in Community Mode but that might require an online connection, I'm not sure. For the Facebook Cup, I'm assuming from its name that that is exclusive to that site, but you could easily register on there to gain access if you wanted. Hope that helps.

hold R2 and LEFT STICK towards your goal and press X every split of seconds just to keep your player on the track than if u are the last defender never attack the ball unless ur sure u will win . Press square to bring your teammate . If u can make a tackle (i mean if you are close enough and ball just going to leave opostion players foot_) while going back with R2 press L2 and X towards BALL, sometimes of course u will miss because attacking player can do tricks (life) , about shooting press shooting button and than just when your player is going to hit the ball press and hold till shot is taken down or up( wide camera) , if you want to make a strong shot hold L2(but u must have the position and little time to aim with precission cuz its manual shot) or press triangle after shooting button.
it all works defending is hard but u can score more goals. PES 2012 is the best game ever. I had the same thoughts as you all but practice makes perfect.

When I play online, my speed burst doesn't work. I follow the instructions in the manual but it doesn't work. Also,according to the manual, if you want to cross along the ground you hit the circle button 3 times quickly. That doesn't work for me. It's so frustrating. By the way, I play on the PS3. Your help and advice is greatly appreciated. Also, is there any way to bring the edit player data online using an option file? It appears that some people who play online are using the edit player data. Their players are always faster than mine even when I use FC Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Hi I play MLO daily but don't really want a dream team squad. i hate being matched up with players whom have dream team squads. Ronaldo Messi Pato etc. Just run with the ball fast to win and don't play football.
Surely a fairer online match up is the squads value rather than rating???
