what new players in the default team are worth a starting spot cause I'm not at all sure how to utilise this team best in terms of selection and tactics.

4-5-1 with Heeders up top. Heeders' stats may look shit but he plays much better than what he is. His 87 shot acc is also extremely valuable as he's pretty much the only player in the team that can finish. He develops really well and in one of my ML's his shot accuracy was 99 into the second or third season.

I got Zarate from my youth academy who is quite pacy and can dribble well, I've found that useful and the shooting of heeders is useful in the second half.

I'm probably going to stick with youth players and a long run in the cup can get me valuable revenue. but I doubt I have the quality to go past the first couple of rounds.

First year that I didn't buy PES since its ISS days but I've ordered PES 2012 today to get tore into a ML.

I'll be using GTM's Option File and I'll be moving the appropriate teams (if I can) due to relegation/promotion etc.

Any tips on what team I should start with?

It seems that Top Player is absolutely nails and that would be a nightmare with the defaults, although that is how I usually start.

The Buffon merry-go-round takes another spin as he continues with his gypsical ways by returning to Milan for £34m, a mere 6 months after going back to Juve. I'm honesty chuffed to see he's picking up heftily realistic figures at the tender age of 36 - he's getting £12.5m for one year at Milan Gonna try sign him on a free next year for a laugh (even though I have Krul and some class 18 year old regen called Rodiguez already (and Maik Taylor but we try to forget about him)) I must admit it is one of my utmostest of desires to attain a victory in the Champions League Final with the slick haired, dulcet toned, Roman nosed Adonis. Meanwhile as the 2015 winter window closes, I currently sit joint top of the Prem along with Chelsea on 56 points from 23 games (71 scored, 20 conceded), I'm in the semis of the FA Cup and got through the groups in Europe. Eto'o and Neymar's been banging them in, Di Maria's as creative as Catholic's logic and Tiote and Heycory are like a stodged out Great Wall of China in midfield - get through them and you've got Hummels, Chigrat and lastly Krul to beat. *bleep*ing Argentinosaurus spine that. Got the mackem shit cunts next - at St James' - I expect to beat them by 5.

Champions League Last 16's been drawn....got Barca ¬_______________________¬ They may have lost Iniesta, Xavi and Puyol but they still boast a frontline trio of Messi, Sanchez and none other than Cristiano Ronaldo. I went out to Madrid at this stage of the competition in a shitey spawny game so I wont be surprised if something similar happens here.

Just won 4-3 at Old Scafford having only taken the lead once. I was 2-0 down with 15 minutes remaining - the last 10 were insane. Chelsea up next, could be the title decider in February the way the league's gone so far.

I like the look of it, the whole, buy facilities to maximise stats is interesting and I think it'll be enjoyable, especially with a team with small finances.

Well I'd like to say I'm very much enjoying the old Master League, so I thought I'd share my progress so far.

Got the pre-Euro 2012 patch (so all the real teams and kits including new European league 2013 lineups), started off with my beloved Chelsea with about half the Classic players unlocked.

First season in the 'Bundesliga 2' was tough, as you can imagine, but promoting Shimizu and Palmieri made things a bit more bearable, plus this Irish DMF called Duffy who has been awesome from day one.

I managed to win the League quite comfortably and even the FA Cup. Wasn't easy and basically was a case of passing the ball as near to the goal as possible and hope either Ettori or Ordaz (what a joke that guy is!) finished it [was usually Ettori of course]. Once the goal's been scored, basically keep hold of the ball for as long as possible, so my early style was like a ridiculously slow one (even the old replays of the good goals are laughable compared to how we play now). Cinalton for some reason also always seemed to get on the end of crosses and Shimizu was immense with his mazy dribbles.

2nd Season and in the Prem, quite interesting really as all the top Classicos (Gullit, Maradona, Stoichkov, Brolin) have all been snapped up by the big guns so they're even tougher (Arsenal have Stoich, Brolin, Gazza, Gordon Banks, Maldini to name a few).

We signed Luis Enrique who's like an AM utility man (I play a 4-2-3-1 formation with wingers and an AM) but the real superstar signing was some Peruvian guy called Cubillas [apparently he scored against Scotland in the'78 World Cup?!] who is immense. Also got Uche, some Nigerian striker and Buchwald (who played for Germany back in the day).

Lost in the FA Cup Semis to bloody Arsenal but won the Europa League (including an unbelievable 5-4 Semis win over Man. United) and the EPL at the first attempt.

3rd season signed Enzo Scifo (was too slow and couldn't play CMF where I wanted and later sold in January for 19.5m which I used to buy David Luiz back to give Palmieri and Buchwald some competition). Bought Sergio Romero in goal, Vincent Candela at LB, Mabina (?) at RB, Massimo Ambrosini (ex-Milan) regened and I've got him [79 already!]; also signed Chelsea legend Luca Vialli to bang 'em in (which he sure has) and promoted Litmanen (regen I imagine), Chaiman (some Thai guy with awesome skills at 62) and Kirilov (Bulgarian RMF started at 67).

So in essence my team is: Romero [81], Candela [85], Luiz [89], Buchwald [84], Mabina [88], Duffy [79], Ambrosini [79], Shimizu, Enrique, Cubillas, Vialli. Only defaults who've survived is Irjescu (awesome shot) as I don't play any of the others. We have tough games but I don't lose much if at all. Have scored some cracking goals and been involved in some real battles.

Started as Chievo, purely because I drew them in the Adopt a Club thread in the Football Forum, haha. Made an awful start with three straight losses, though I have played Udinese (lost 2-1) and Milan (lost 1-0). Lone Warrior will be happy to know that my first signing was Acquafresca.
