So the Italian league is now completely unofficial? Am I read that right?

All that means is that Palermo aren't licensed.

I've yet to hear much information about WE (obviously, as it's all about PES over here), but will assume the same basis will recur again this year.

They have more than just the J-League, hence the videos that include Santos, Bayern and Leverkusen.

Like you'll read in the early reviews, I was originally told that the Serie A will be the same as it was last year.

But since, it's been said that Palermo will be licensed.

Konami will confirm licenses (and announce new ones) at Gamescom, which thankfully, kicks off in just 10 days time.

You guys might be getting something else before that though.

So when they said the crowd would be wearing football shirts they literally just meant any old football shirt? Because they look like WE and PES United tops to me, not a Ghana shirt in sight. However the actual player graphics look like they have been given a minor boost, though maybe just because it's probably in HD; looks quite good.
