downloaded map pack 4 and.....

I have run into the same problem. Downloaded map pack 4 and now when I boot the game sometimes I will get the games startup screen but as soon as I try to play multiplayer the game goes into a continuous black screen loop. WTF!!! I have tried deleting the map pack and re installing it and still the same thing happens. Plays fine without the map pack. One thing that also happened after I downloaded the map pack was when game boots up I get an error message saying "couldn't get free content pack index". Like I said I have tried un installing and re installing the map pack 3-4 times and to no prevail. If I pay for something I want it to work.

Same thing happened to me after downloading the dlc 4. went and sold my game thinking that was the problem because it wouldn't read but nope, the new game wouldn't read either. I deleted the the collection 4 market place content ONLY and just left the elite drop content it seems to be working. Although when I insert the game I get a black screen for about 15-20 seconds and the same goes for when I goto multiplayer so thats running a bit slower then normal. I'm playing on a new map right now so hopefully the problem has been solved for now and they fix this bug.

I have this problem, its only the map boardwalk that is causing this, dont know how to fix this though, if i delete boardwalk from Hard drive COD works fine, but cant play DLC maps cos you need to have all the dlc maps available to play them :@

don't sign into your live account 1st. Play the game without signing into your live account and go ahead and do multiplayer hit A when you get the error message then sign into your live account. That worked for me and the new maps were there.

You don't have to uninstall the whole thing. Just delete the map boardwalk. I called Xbox and they told me to do that and it worked. You can redownload it later in and all works well
