I'd say the Model is slightly better than the KSG.

Striker>USAS>Model>KSG>AA12/SPAS (then the other).

Also guys, what about the KSG-12 vs SPAS-12 vs AA-12? Or are they the equal just for similar reasons and how do they each fair against the Model-1887, overall?

I've never used the KSG-12 but the SPAS-12 and AA-12 are great and fun to use. The only thing I don't like about these shotguns are having to use a first perk other than Extreme Conditioning. SPAS-12 I use Sleight of Hand to reload faster so I can get a second shot out if the first doesn't kill the person, and with the AA-12 I use Scavenger for the extra ammo. If I were to chose between the three then it would probably be the SPAS-12, though. AA-12 is great once you level it up.

AA12, KSG and SPAS.. I'd just like to say with the 2 pump actions, until you get damage or range their both really inconsistent. You'll get a long shot, then have to hit a guy 3 times from stab range. I never really got into the spas, but I know that the KSG IMO, is better than it.

I'd then rank the AA12 over those 2, although the spas and KSG are both better than it with the right attachments and proficiencies. The AA12 with extended mags and range is by far my favorite shotgun in the game. The grind getting it leveled up however is a bitch. And is probably why it's so overlooked.


I'd say the 87 fairs about the same as the spas in kill consistency. Although having no attachments isn't very fun. And you feel like you aren't accomplishing anything because all you unlock is camos and proficiencies. I'd rank it above all except maybe the striker with ext mags and damage. once you unlock damage the 87 is amazing.

I'd still say the USAS is best overall in shotguns. You can use it as is, it kills in no more than 2 shots, and although it's automatic, if you time it just right tapping the trigger will bust shots off faster than just holding the trigger down.

Yeah, see, the reason I said, pretty sure of myself, that the CM901 was the worst is that the only other two assault rifles that are comparable to it pre-buff, the Ak and the M16, were buffed in that August 1 hotfix I mentioned. The AK-47 got a sizeable reduction in kick, imo anyways, and the M16 got a damage and fire rate buff, making it actually better than the Type 95, and overall one of the best assault rifles.

Before when you said that you didn't say it had the least recoil, I knew what you meant by what you were saying, but in my opinion, the CM901, as a result of the AK47 recoil reduction, is now easily the gun with the highest recoil, a lot more than the M4A1 as well, in my opinion anyway.

Don't get me wrong, I like using the CM901 more than most of the other assault rifles, but that's probably 90% because it's a challenge, and it's reload is orgasmic, not based on the gun being actually good.

Like i said the problem with the automatic snipers is that they are too easy to hipfire for one shot kills + the fact that it is also too easy to miss with ur first shot then put one into someones leg for a one shot kill a split second later, in fact as fast as u can pull the trigger. MW3 has no hit locators apart from the head. 1 bullets in the leg is the same as 1 in the chest.

And lets not forget the quickscoping + drag scoping kills that are 1 shot kills non headshots with the Barret or MSR. No sniper should be able to kill a bloke with an smg close range unless its a lucky hipfire. But it happens all too often for it to be called 'lucky'

I can see where you're coming from with the Barrett yes, but the AS50? No. It's firecap is too low to spam it from the hip at close encounters and the Barrett has too much recoil to effectively double tab it nevermind spam it at range when scoped in. Also, the body does have different damage multipliers with the head, chest and stomach/limbs all having different shots to kill. I agree quickscoping is bullshit, but the MSR is a bolt action rifle not semi auto.

To the person who mentioned the CM901, the reason why you think it's more accurate is because it's the only AR to kick downwards which helps against flinching but however, the thing still kicks like a mule and his harder to control compared to the likes of the ACR or M4A1. Plus it has a pig ugly sight picture thanks to that horrible rear sight ghost ring.

I have tried this with a mate shooting me in the foot and the chest, same distance same gun, same amount of bullets...

Kick doesn't make that much of a difference with the Barrett seeing as you can easily get another shot off before the screen re-centers itself.

If it was in private match then you probably had the health set to minimum making any of the sniper rifles OHK's to the feet. Look at this chart, it clearly shows the body modifiers for the sniper rifles. I know it's a bit outdated now but as far as sniper rifles are concerned, it's still proof about the multipliers. SMG's and AR's don't get any body multiplier except for the head, shotguns get nothing at all, not even a headshot.

Here's what I've learned. Arguing with people on this forum is pointless. Even if you back your points up with stats directly from the game code, like HU1CH13 has, idiots who don't take the time to read still continue to argue.

That chart is based on the game code. Not what the developers have said in game.

Only the Sniper Rifles have differing damage multipliers for body parts. SMG's it doesn't matter where you are shot, the only multiplier you get is for a headshot. Oh and BTW, none of the sniper rifles kill in one bullet to the limbs.

The only sniper in my memory that has done so was the M40 w/ ACOG in CoD4, which was a bug that never got fixed.
