stalker vs steady aim for shotguns

ok, now you're probably think im insane for even suggesting this, but i was screwing around with the ksg and got specialist 3 times in one game (naked btw...) i found my self wanting to ads around corners because i had stalker, and i actually tried it out, to my surprise, it works exceptionally well. i know you lose the steady aim bonus when ads, but it seems that my ability to hit center mass, and my overall accuracy is improved when ads. i put it on an actual class when i got damage on it, and it is surprisingly consistent.

i used to say, steady aim or sitrep on shotguns always, but now im wondering if stalker actually has a place in the use of shotguns. i know on paper it doesnt make much sense, but try it out for one game and im telling you, you will be pleasantly surprised.

i have all of the shotguns gold now, and i dont think this strategy is really effective on anything but the pump actions, so dont really try it on anything else. i dont know, what do you guys think, please try it out before you insult my intelligence, because i thought i was crazy as well. i suggested it to a few of my subs that i was in a party with, and they all seemed to have the same result. it truly is a weird thing, because on one hand, it should only make your 0KO range less.

Imo i would use steady aim. I have all shotguns gold except for 1887 (lvl 29 and working on it) and i find myself never ADS because it takes more time, but it is worth it for auto weapons, and shotguns are pointless aiming down sights because of their bad accuracy. I've always used steady aim just for those reasons, but it really is a matter of personal preference.

Steady Aim all the way. It groups your pellets sooo much better

You have better aim while ADS because of aim-assist.

There's no aim-assist when you aren't ADS.



If my aim is on point, I barely ADS. If I'm having a bad day, I find myself ADS a lot.


I find 0 point of using Stalker. Just means you can't aim if you do better with it, really.

shotguns feel like theyre really inconsistent very close range, i dont seem to get that when ADS, i dont really know, its a preference thing, statistically speaking its awful haha.
