HU1CH13 See you are taking what I said wrong, I said nothing about "good for its time". Look at it this way, a lot, and I am not saying everyone, even everyone on here even, I simply mean a lot of people who were trashing WaW and BoPs (to a lesser extent and seemingly only with my friends MW2) are going back and saying "Look at that, that was better, Look at it!" All I was saying is if you look back at a game, most of the time your brain triggers the fond memories.

Go back and play CoD4 today, despite the hackers, the mods, the other problems, the game, at least to me, feels bland and less appealing than the newer ones. It doesn't have the upgrades the new games have, granted it avoids a few of the pitfalls those games have too. But remember back, Martydom, Juggernaut, 3 *bleep*ING GRENADES. Not to mention the rampant camping with the LMG's that continues even now. Sure, the game had it's major upsides, but just like the new ones it had it's downsides. Granted since it took fewer risks it had fewer pitfalls. The new games take bigger risks with what they attempt to do.

Look at it this way, sure people won't be looking back and going "MW3 was the greatest game of all time!" but I have a feeling that as time passes people will look back and go "Oh that game was fun!" Just like people are starting to do with the other older ones.

Personally I still find MW3 fun, sure it has some major online flaws, but I still find it enjoyable. I haven't played a CoD game recently that I found to be a major let down, mostly because I don't put them each on a pedestal before they are released. I know most of them recycle the same guns and online mechanics, and each has its own campaign. I don't expect each to be the be all end all of the fps genre.
