Gives a little bit of perspective.

I would say, objectively and introspectively, that COD is a game which attracts personalities with short fuses. I certainly do, when I leave myself unchecked; I hate something or someone for no good reason. The game's forums reflect that. People who go on forums take the game seriously and are in the minority. Only those people realise that the game isn't 'fair' per se, and react explosively (DMH) to the bullshit.

In saying that, though, I realise that means that I am part of the reason the community is terrible. I would hope, though, for the most part, that we are better than that.

LOL, no. Not really. Take it from someone who left and came back to witness the shitstorm from the outside. The community is just as bad, just as petty, just as critical and just as wrong as it ever was.

I am pretty well ashamed of how I and the people i know played COD. Constant moaning, constant badmouthing, putting people down 24/7. Worrying about completely inconsiquential shite like who uses what weapon or who camps where.

See when you take a break back into real life and look back its just embarassing to be a grown man and worry about that kind of shit the way i did. In a way stopping COD has been a really good thing. Lets you see the petty shite everyone (including me) gets so worked up about.

I have never said this about COD, but its true. Its just a f***ing video game LOL. It has no bearing on how its players are as human beings. If you stop to think about it, its completely rediculous in a practical sense to think otherwise.

I hate that I entered prestige mode, and without realising it erases your progress on challenges and now I have get 100 one shot sniper rifles kills starting at 0. I was at 83/100 prior to me entering prestige mode. #Whatanoob

I've been playing more MW2 than MW3 lately. MW2 is just simply better (360). I've only found a hacked lobby once and the rest of my games have been normal. Danger Close doesn't bother me and Commando doesn't bother me. Shitty connections and under powered weaponry bothers me, which is what MW3 has.

Do you think it's the game or the community?

I mean, I enjoy PC MW2 more than 360 MW3, even though I play like I have hammers for hands, there has to be something seriously wrong.
