In which case, you really don't have a right to say 'you were outplayed' to anybody. We all have our different views on things and that's fine. But as you've just said, you have more experience with quicksoping on the PC so your perspective of quickscoping on PS3/360 is not that great which means you cannot possibily tell anybody it was their fault for dying to a quickscoper.

You're taking something I said for a different scenario and applying it to this?

I may have made a rash generalization, but your case is different from the millions of other cases where it's happened. Your death was the game's fault. Not you, not him. The game.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you fell to the shortcomings of the game. Sure you weren't "outplayed" but the game decided to go AWOL on you and decided to not give you the kill which you deserved.

If the guy was BEHIND me, he wouldn't NEED to quickscope me now, would he? He should have taken out his secondary and shot me, or knifed me to stay off the radar.

Funnily enough, I was in this EXACT situation today. Kill Confirmed on Underground; I was one kill off a MOAB (didn't know at the time, wasn't checking the score) and saw an enemy on top of one of the trains and jump down. I was behind him at the time so I quickly jumped down off the walkway, off the roof of the train and onto the ground. Now what I didn't know is that he didn't actually jump off the roof of the train, he went prone on the roof instead. This left me an absolute sitting duck, with me fumbling around on the ground looking for which direction I thought he went in. I suddenly hear a shot...I glance at the radar and see the dot RIGHT BEHIND ME. This dumbass tried to quickscope me with a .50 Cal twice and utterly failed. I turned around and hip-sprayed for the kill and the MOAB. I enjoyed nuking his bitchscoping ass.

Now, in this situation...if he had simply taken out his pistol or machine pistol, I would have been a dead man. Hell, he could have even walked up and knifed me in the back. No, he decided to be a bitch and try and snipe me. If he had sniped me, it wouldn't be me being outplayed by a sniper rifle. It would be an idiot quickscoper taking an unnecessary risk in trying to get a nice killcam.

DragonEmperor Getting the odd quick scope kill in a game is easy enough but to actually win games and finish with a respectable score is not an easy thing to do.

Quick scoping does not take as much skill as you think,it's only a little bit harder than noob tubing someone.

In this game, that argument could be made. But only because they completely screwed noobtubes. Otherwise, to say that is idiotic. OMA/DC or not.

Well a generalization isn't correct in all cases, hence being a generalization and often incorrect for many scenario's.

But he's probably still quickscope you. If what you guys say is true, these are the type of people that play for that 'kool kill kam' which means they're gonna try their hardest just to get the best type of kill they can, which is fine. Unless they're actually GOOD, it doesn't mean anything as they're usually just walking target practice.

However, I do like the type of person that kind of guy is. Usually they don't care about their kdr. They don't care they're using a gun to it's disadvantages. They don't care they're going to die alot. They're nonchalant players, which is what I am to this game. Consoles... have dirt shit competitive play. Optic? All these weird ass idiots are TERRIBLE compaired to some of the hardcore players that come from PC. That's where I play my competitive scene, and that's where I play serious. The only issue I'm having relaying to you guys (and I want to make it clear I'm not trying to be offensive at all)... is that I come from a background, where I'm competitive and when I play competitively I don't do it for those kool kill cams and such. No. It's usually for status or bragging rights. Or (back when I was in CoD4); Money. What I'm trying to say is I can tryhard, but this isn't the place for me to tryhard. I don't take this game so seriously, which is what I'm trying to tell you guys. I LOVED MW2, even though it was filled with all this "bullshit" you guys said it was. I loved it! It was a breath of fresh air for the serious scene that COD4 was for me, and I loved every minute of it. MW3 is doing a mixture of both, which slightly irritates me because I don't have a PC anymore so I can't play this competitively because then I would be completely defeating the point of me playing CoD on consoles; For sheer fun and nothing else. It's why I picked up the franchise on consoles. I had to get away, ya know? I liked playing with my friends on league skrims but it got boring sometimes because it was always Pro Mod S&D or something. Nothing interesting. Nothing where I could have fun with.

What I'm trying to relay is that, I'm sorry but you guys take this game WAY TO FREAKING SERIOUS and I have issues relaying that to you because I don't come from the same background of a gamer. >.<

Mia on consoles, those who quickscope do it for one reason. To have kidgasms and show off how 'skillful' they are. They are the people who bitch about your k/d and tell you why they are so much better than you. The fact is that people don't play competitively on consoles at all...especially where I'm from. There's no incentive at all.

Please watch who you are referring to when you say that 'you guys' say MW2 was filled with bullshit. I have stated on numerous occasions that I absolutely loved MW2.

You say I'm taking this game way too seriously...are you *bleep*ing joking? I was running around with a Model 1887 for Christ's sake. Fun is the REASON I play this game. The reason I get pissed off is because of bullshit such as bitchscoping, exploits, T-95 and AFMG9 spam prevents me from having fun.

Spoiler:Like I said before, the guy had to simply get out his secondary or knife me. Bitchscoping should only be 'used' in an actual confrontation, not trying to shoot someone in the back. That was absolute stupidity on his part. Oh and also because I'm an asshole who likes to show off.

I use the Type 95 (sometimes, I like the Scar better). I use the Akimbo FMG9's. I panic knife, I can quickscope. I find it all fun regardless of what I'm doing and when I see people complaining about the way I'm having fun, it makes me feel bad because apparently my way of playing the game isn't healthy for the community? On MW2 I Pro Piped, I Commando Tac-Knived, I did it all. I did it because I found it incredibly fun and that's why I loved that game. It was fun to use these set ups and run amock like a chicken with my head cut off.

I'm trying to take this all completely nonchalantly, but you're (and I'm speaking to those addressing the points I've brought up in the thread) trying to take this to a serious level (or it seems like it), which it shouldn't be at. Don't throw your hate to the weapons and go off saying that they're broken and anyone who uses them is a scrub because all that's doing is what you think they're doing to you; Ruining your fun.
