Hopefully this won't be an epic fail just like Battlefield 3 - Page 3

I've always seen Battlefield as a game that should be a PC exclusive. Why? It's a team based, more tactical shooter than what you'd normally find on consoles. CoD, Halo, ect ect. It fits more along the lines of how team based, and tactical Quake, Counter Strike (pre-source, like 1.6), Red Orchestra, and Doom MP were like. That being said, when I hear people getting beast scores on BF, I really question if they're playing majorly skilled players who know every aspect, every single feature of the game including map placement, cover, nade spots, ect ect or are they playing total wimps who can't even steady the weapon correctly?

Now, I'm not saying that console players are bad players, but what I AM saying is that I personally, can't see most Battlefield console players contending with some of the best Battlefield players on PC. This is just a personal opinion however as multiple people can have a different perspective.

Now Call of Duty is an arcade shooter, a lot easier to play and lot easier to get used to. The competitive league for COD is BIGGER than BF, but it's also a lot more watered down. Therefore, you see more players and you see more competition which ultimately makes it better in the long run. I don't see many people playing Bad Company 1 while I still see a good thousand people on CoD4 online.

Although I'm not a fan of recent Battlefield games, Battlefield 3 has received critical acclaim and has a thriving online community, I would hardly call that an "epic fail". It also seems that part of the reason you are insulting it is because you weren't good at it, which could be a reason to not like it, but that certainly does not make it a bad game. Nonetheless, I do hope MW3 is what I'm expecting and has more appeal to me than Battlefield 3 does. Survival mode and the new multiplayer modes look fantastic, I'm hoping they work well with the other new content (guns, maps, etc.)

And if I may stray from the topic, you may want to better consider your choice of words. Calling somebody a fanboy and a jackass simply because they disagree with you on the quality of a game isn't exactly good judgement.

Lulz at people saying Battlefield is notorious for mediocre campaign missions. Battlefield 3 was the first Battlefield that had a campaign. Sure, Bad Company had campaigns, but they weren't meant to be something special. They had a bunch of close-to-home characters with silly steryotypes which made the game enjoyable.

That being said, Battlefield 3's campaign is a disappointment.

And one of the reasons I enjoy the CoD series (but I don't love it) is what you said Mia. CoD is a great game to just pick up and play. It's easy. It's not nearly as difficult as some other shooters. By no means am I bashing CoD players here, I'm saying the game is more accessible, therefore explaining the massive fan base it has collected.
