I liked the nuke. Its one of the few things that keeps me playing mw2...It sucks its gone.

Thank you for clearing that up. That is not very good news to me, and frankly dosen't make much sense. With these game they try to mimic what war is like in real life today, so why would they take something that significant out? I still don't believe that's the case, they will probably surprise us in the outcome.

COD is more of an arcade shooter, and judging from playing the games in the series and knowing about how the games usually work, I'd say there's no way in hell the developers based much of anything in previous COD games on real life. Hence the "arcade shooter" genre, as opposed to calling it something like a "simulator".

For example, no one can run forever(marathon), take a grenade blast and keep running(flak jacket), or lunge up a flight of stairs with their knife and kill someone who's shooting them(commando) in real life. That's part of what makes it what I would call an arcade-style shooter.

Also, I think stopping power, and juggernaut make the game less realistic. Not to mention that dropping a nuke that kills you, your team, and your enemies doesn't sound like something anyone would do in real life either.

If anything, the game is seemingly being made more realistic by taking these features out.

This worries me to be honest. I don't care for juggernaut, stopping power, or nukes, but the fact that they're taking things like that out make me think they're going to try to make a more realistic game. Personally, the fast-paced arcade style is what's made me keep getting COD games. I find it fun. I'm fine with these changes. In fact, I'm quite pleased with these specific changes, but I hope they don't take it too far.

If I want a more realistic game, I'll play SOCOM.

Thats right. Take away stackable killstreaks, and leave in the nuke...the people that get a nuke will do it the legit way..my biggest streak in BO is 28.. i wish it had nukes.

You are right about everything except the killstreaks in BO. Only streaks earned with your gun go on your CR.

Why the hate for the nuke? Cuz of OMA+Toob+Camping+Nade Arcing+gay = free nuke.

It's not the nuke's fault. Like everything else that is given to the COD comunity, it gets ruined. The COD community is the worst one out there.
