I haven't spoken to a super about it in months, so if you guys haven't already you should. Last time I heard it was a hard problem to change, so in the meantime I don't see why a single thread focused on Wii could hurt anyone. ^^;

Thought since you guys aren't quite understanding the use of the world 'trial', I thought this would be of some use to y'all.

Basically, all sarcasm aside, I can only see this as a good thing. Sure you guys are entitled to moan about the game (and I don't blame you =P) but it's part of the moderators job to make sure that positive discussion takes place within the community and try to balance it out. We can't just say "Any discussion is better than no discussion" because that isn't always the case.

But what they are doing is counter productive. At least the moan throad puts us all in a corner, leave us be, giving space in the forum for the positive threads. Now there'll just be a plethora of negative threads on the fir - forget it, I'm just sounding like a broken record here.

I completely understand, but you seem to be totally ignoring the fact that it's removal is only a trial. Trial doesn't indicate permanent. There is no harm in trying out new ways to bring new activity into the forum and you can't really see how dependant a forum is a single thread until it's removed. If the moderators see the forum is better off with the thread they'll reinstate it I'm sure. But for now I'd just try and channel discussion into other parts of the game. I don't have a Moan Thread for ACR and there is plenty to bitch about and it seems to be going fine. It's all about trying to gauge the demographic of the forum.

Not concentrated, more of a singular moan thread about one thing. The discussion hasn't frayed from the original point. =P The Moan Thread here was about all points of the game from what I saw.

Which has nothing to do with what we're talking about. Haha. And if a community has built it's foundations on the grounds of complaining, there's something to be said in that.
