	Log in to remove this sponsored message What are your thoughts on the conclusion to Altair and Ezio? I personally was very much touched by it. Taking Embers into account, I was especially moved with Ezio, remembering that as players, we've seen him since birth. We've seen him as a young adult, experienced his tragedy/turning point into an Assassin. 	Don't think i've spoken to anyone who disagrees yet, but i think they wrapped both of them up really well. And they linked the two stories quite well too. Loved that aspect of the game. I don't feel like i want to know anything more about Altair and Ezio - at least, it isn't necessary. So that's good i guess. -------------------

	I think that gameplay wise, ACR was perhaps the weakest of the series. The story mode just wasn't long enough. But the storyline was just done perfectly. All the lose ends as far as Ezio and Altairs stories were tied up. And it still leaves Desmond in the real world in order for more of his memories to be tapped for other ancestors. And hence for more Assassins Creed games. Whoever wrote the storyboard for the Assassins Creed games really earned their paychecks.

	I loved the way the storyline was wrapped up in the game and in Embers. It reminded the players that Ezio and Altair really did die before the present day, despite all of the time you spend playing as them. Both characters got highly moving conclusions to their stories and it was a good way for the series to set up new adventures without worrying about any loose ends. ------------------- My memories will be part of the sky...

	The story went absolutely well, they redeemed Altair there after giving Ezio about 3 while games spanning decades. Though I feel they should've ended it earlier though. Most of the storyline post AC2 is mostly political issues that eventually serves some purposes for the assassins. Kinda like in Revelations, you spend a bunch of missions helping the Prince out with his own issues with the Janissary guards and whatnot. Though, as stated before, along with Embers, the Ezio storyline ended almost perfectly. Though the AC universe could've expanded so much more than having a huge chunk of it in the Italian Renaissance era. -------------------

	Embers is quite well done. I just wish they had built that as ACR ending as opposed to the usual mind-bleeping shit they pull at the end of every game. Maybe as a separate memory you unlock by collecting stuff in the game would have been nicer. It's safe to say from Embers that AC3 will take place in China featuring a Chinese assassin who speaks Chinese in Italian accent and translated into English. -------------------

	I feel that they wrapped things up quite nicely for those two. We have that connection with Altair for being the guy who introduced us to the Assassin/Templar conflict and his overall badassery. Ezio we have seen from his immature days to his old age and peaceful (gasp!) passing. Having played him over the course of 3 separate games he may go down as the best made character I have seen in quite awhile. Those being said I don't know of any loose ends on their parts, which is surprising for games nowadays. They are supposedly bringing in a new character to play as in AC3 and he is gonna have to be really REALLY awesome for him to compare to Altair or Ezio. Also Revelations is aptly named cause we learn quite a bit about Desmond as well, which is great considering we knew close to nothing before this games aside from he ran away from his assassin home and was a bartender then BAM AC happens. now he is more fleshed out too considering he the MAIN character of the universe. Desmond aside it really is a great conclusion to the two greatest assassins we know. EDIT: Spoiler:altair Seeing Altair's last moments almost brought me to tears... 	ah, agent mo pretty much summed up my thoughts. The last scene in the library was incredible tbh. As for what someone else said, I'd agree that the story wasn't that long and I felt that it was far too easy to complete but hmmm the story got summarised well. Left us on a cliffhanger though.

	The Ezio-Altair meeting was like a culmination of the whole Assassin's Creed series up to that point. Amazing. It truly felt like the pinnacle of their stories, and the way the scenes played out with the transition from Altair sitting in the library to Ezio face to face with his skeleton was very tastefully done! And the whole 'Ezio was just the messenger between Desmond and the past' rounded off Ezio's story perfectly. My only problem with Revelations was that Desmond's story was a bit lame. A bit of boring (IMO) backstory, stuck in a coma (a great concept but could have been executed better) and 'Revelations' which weren't very revealing. I also thought Revelations' setting wasn't as interesting as AC2 or Brotherhood's. There is something amazing about climbing about the Roman Colleseum and looking out over Italy. It was barely half as interesting exploring Constantinople (hardly any recognisable landmarks etc) ------------------- "The Sun sets forever over Blackwater Park... "

	I always find that phrase interesting - "could have been executed better" because it's always used in a context where no one actually provides a better alternative. I think there could have been more glitches within the animus that revolved around Desmond's coma- the fragments were near pointless, just something to collect for collections sake (or a trophy). That crazy dude trapped on animus island- who exactly was he again? And what meaningful purpose did he serve? I enjoyed the little first person perspective puzzle sections- but the backstory conveyed was hardly interesting. Nothing we didn't know already know, Desmond working in a bar blah I just thought it was a bit dead-pan in it's execution. Brotherhood -> Stab Lucy -> Coma (with excellent conclusion of Ezio-Altair story) -> Wake up. I would also enjoy an actual, physical enemy for Desmond, in Desmond's own time period, that actually puts in an appearance here and there. I think maybe the modern-day Templar's should hack into the Assassin's own animus and plant bugs in there, creating cyber attacks in the form of boss battles? Heck, anything to spice up the antagonists of the series! Also thought Demond's coma could have been seen from the other characters' points of view (Shaun for example), instead of just hearing their voices echoing from beyond. ------------------- "The Sun sets forever over Blackwater Park... This is a Desmond story what you know about the series is what he knows and sees, in real life or via his ancestors. It also made millions of people purchase Revelations to see the consequences and meanings behind that turn of events.
