A Soiled Haven

Very brief description of the field: A cursed land, where souls come. Many a life have been lost on these plains, which were once an enchanted forests. Now all it is a battle field, the woods burned and leveled leaving no trace of what once was.
The ground is now freshly sullied with blood from a war not even half an hour before the current time. Bodies and weapons in immensely different conditions are scattered among the crimson landscape, although a few survivors may live among the spoils.

(Just to say that I have a large lack of absence from Neo from lack of computer availability... sorry)

::Before Angel's arrival, on the battle feild::
There among the blood soaked ruins, fresh was the immense stench infecting the lands radiating all about for kilometers. One could feel the rage of the soldiers now mutilated, the fear, the sadness, there on the plains of death lay the souls of billions of soldiers of many origions, each sharing their very emotions with all whom step upon that fertile cursed soil. There in that desolate barren of souls stood one, the survivor of thus previous battle, the only survivor, one whom matched this delicate new ecosphere so well.

A body, half covered in the sweet liquids of life stood in the center of the stage, a huge weapon stuck in the ground just infront of him, as if excalibur waiting to be pulled from it's stone. The sound of heavy breathing radiating from this creature, solemn was his breathing, hard and coarse. The figure's large body only to move with each breath, the expansion of lungs causing him to grow and shrink.

::Angel gets to the feild::
The figure slowly leant back from a hunched position, the sound of movement through the bloody rivers of the battle feild carried them through the sound of death to his ears, one had entered a place where none but one ever lived. With one swift movement the figure lifted a large blood soaked hand and grasped the blade only to walk off cutting the earth around it's pedestal only to lift it out and too his shoulder as a skull shattered underfoot, a trek had begun across the bloody pools of styx.

eventually, from walking in the direction of a wavering river, as if souls of those whom loved death themselves guided him, he had found that invader. Suprised was he when a girl of such youth grew into sight, his mouth only reacted with those words of death. "Don't think I shall go easy on you due to your being a girl" snarled the great man, a face half painted in splatters of blood, his hair silver mixed as his feet slowly sloshed into a stance where his sword would be available anywhere as it rested now on his right shoulder.

::Battle Post One::

The searing heat of her enkindled blade felt like the sparks off a few projectiles ablaze tearing through his thick hide, bearable it was, nay simple pain that he felt quite more often then not. His teeth mearly gave a small clench as his sword shot fourth to block this next attack. Vertical was the broad of his sword as it clashed with her own.

Sparks splattered for the breif moments those extensions clashed, as Rein's bulging arm pushed forward shoving her sword and the arm holding it away. The woman stumbled from the force of that large man's own strength a look of suprise on her face, The male's having not changed since the begining. Expeditiously was the bloodied creature's reaction as the great figure twirled around, The death covered locks of his hair whipping out and slapping her with the heavy liquids, leaving the elixer of man upon her upper torso and face.

Though blind at the moment Angel was, she knew it was a must to retreat from the feeling of on coming danger through those stinging whips of hair that proded at even her own eyes, Back her leg muscles carried herin one swift jump, her hair brushing forward as her body backed away, the river of bloodied whips soon dispersing from her personal bubble. Only then she opened her eyes to see the huge steel just before it, a gush of wind being pushed through herself only as splatters of cold blood touched her face and her own strands of hair, apart from her own being now falling infront of her eyes. The power from that swift and heavy blade seemed to generate a vacume within the area, her own hair fell forwards the suction of that area, pulling her in.

The large man who shared the blood he had gathered with her had now with drawn his sword, broad side towards the sky it was as he took the grip into two hands, their sinewy veins bulged as they tightened showing the edge in her general direction. His legs could be seen tightening, his feet burroring in the ground as his hair slowly shifted forward, evidence of the vacume also effecting him as it looked as if he was going to strike again. The rubbing of his hands on that cloth grip squeeked just slightly as she headed into that area void of air currently, that area just attempting to regain it's breath as the huge sword drew up on a diagonal angle to meet up with her.

::Battle Post Two::

Before Angel had a chance to even prepare her arrow, Rein was already on top of her, sword outstretched but not as close as his shoulder. At first glance, considering his earlier stratagem, it would seem he was preparing for a huge strike with his blade, his shoulder lay pointed straight at her ribs as he ducked low to her left. Thus with a huge thrust, much quicker then expected of his thought up action his shoulder collided with her mid ribs as she was in mid turn.

All his gained speed and momentum in that immensely powerful short burst, transferred into that precise area on her body, placing great strain on her ribs as the energy shot through carrying her away roughly. Angel was sent sprawling across the ground picking up the used blood as she sprawled through half rotten corpses and over rusted weapons as she skid soon to a stop within a pool of blood, face down. Rein slowly trudged over, a sloshing sound coming from each large step from the soiled ground, Angel herself, thoroughly drenched in blood as she slowly pushed herself up, coughing from both the blow to the ribs and the inhalation of blood.

Angel, now coughing hard, blood seemingly drooling out of her mouth as her body ached over, her stance keeled over the pool, her left hand nursing her ribs where the blow was previously and elegantly placed. The shadow of Rein quickly overcame her own, sending a shiver down her spine from the blocking of the sun among that cold blood now covering her body, His own projection of weapon raising above the rest of her body. Thus with one swift action the voidance of air came evident as the blade fell towards her, Angel's eyes shut tightly as she gathered the energy she needed to escape.

Angel gasped and opened her eyes pulling herself up and away just as soon as the blade came down, she had lost a few strands of hair as she jumped into the sky, immediately taking a form of flight quite a bit of distance above, her bow and arrow becoming readied. The heavy blade shoved into the ground past the pool as soon as she left the area, the bloody pool parted as if Moses’ doings, Rein pulled it from the soft ground beneath the collapsing red sea, looking left towards the now floating girl as he stepped from the cold depths. Angel had now let an arrow go, only to draw another to make sure, Rein on the other hand brought his own sword up and it hit, the arrow did nothing but fall dead in its track as he shoved back slightly taking the blow of the impact like a shock absorber.

Immediately upon blocking, with his now free right hand he grasped up a newly dead corpse, not even old enough to receive the honour of maggots. By the neck the horrid face drew up and was soon thrust up into the sky, propelled with a large force of momentum straight at Angel, as she hurriedly readied her bow. Rein was as well already grasping for another projectile, whether bone, corpse, rock, or weapon it did not matter, his sword being wielded in his left hand for current defence

::Final Battle Post::

With the strike his mind started to immediately lose focus, the wave of immense feeling flushing through his body, his strength slowly fading. The behemoth brand coming to weigh to much for his fingers and so it fell, with the following sound of crushing bone, thick mud, and a most loathsome slurp of liquid most foul, as the gargantuan blade fell it ripped the arrow away from a most perverse spot as well. A great numbing feeling slowly took over the colossal lord as he suddenly fell to his knees, his eyes now blank of life as he soon lay once flat upon the diseased earth.

The figure lay still for a few brief moments, not moving at all, no signal of life even existed within that supposed carcass, but those, those who could sense spirits, they could see, they could see a great evil growing from within, as if something dormant from deep inside. From some abnormal depths from his very soul, unexplainable to most eyes, the body laying there started to move, almost bulk up if you will, the veins on his arms and backs popped from the thick muscles and skin as it suddenly leapt up. Much quicker then any movements previously his giant hand leapt out grasping the horses neck and in one swift movement, Angel though ready was flung off to the side a torrential downpour of blood taking into its grasp that within a few meters.

The huge figure, even before she had recovered was on top of her , her body feeling the might of gravity, and a sudden acceleration, it felt as if her stomach was attempting to escape up her thought as the large hand pulled her foot first up off the ground, flinging up as if unimaginably fast her thought was caught up in the pincers of death, coarse were those feelings for how brief they were.

Well, I've looked everything over, and I'm going to have to agree strongly with sphinx on this one. SE, your posts, like sphinx said, were too short to develop much of a story, and most of what you did post was attacks. Try going a little more indepth and describe things around you and things that happen rather than just attacking and attacking. And Blade, very well done. And like sphinx also said, at points it was a bit much, but still very good. Better than me anyways
