Splinter Cell: Blacklist gets a new trailer today, one that's really about more than just explosions and action, thankfully. Okay, so it's still got some of that too, but the "Inauguration" video also shows some sneaky Sam, reminiscent of Conviction gameplay.
Now there's an excellent blend of action and stealth, and this Splinter Cell is more hopeful than ever for Blacklist. Here's to crossing our fingers it can live up to its predecessor, or surpass Conviction all together.
Today's trailer follows yesterday's news of Blacklist's delay, which pushed the game from a spring to summer release. Ubisoft hasn't made a particularly big deal out of it, instead announcing the delay quietly via community newsletter. Either way, we won't be seeing Sam Fisher until August 20.
