Thursday, Day 1 of San Diego Comic-Con, has come and gone. It's the last day before the weekend, and we've got a whole new batch of photos off the show floor featuring epic cosplay, figures we can't afford, and Rocco of Mega64 -- among other things.
The crowds picked up just a tad since we stopped in for Preview Night, and it's the last day before the weekend. Oof. In terms of collectibles, we stopped by Weta and Sideshow, checking more Hobbit goodness, some Star Wars figures, and replicas of our favorite game characters. Well, iconic if not favorite.
The majority of today's models are from Sideshow Collectibles, an industry giant known for their high quality statues. The firearms you see come from Triforce.
Oh, and have this shot of Mega64's Rocco dancing. He and his fellow pranksters were present to sell their wares beside Rooster Teeth's booth. Much amusement was had.
Interestingly, Dark Horse was hosting the BioWare Store this year, meaning many of the items found online could be purchased at the Dark Horse booth. Certain new items were also being showcased, like a tiny replica of the Alliance fighter seen toward the end of Mass Effect 3.
