In the Steam Summer Sale i bought Shift 2 for £5, and when i tried to play it, i get literally 1fps. I've tried many things to get it to work, unfrotunately it never and i gave up.
So £5 wasted, not a huge deal, though i was of course dissapointed. Fast forward to today and i buy Borderlands, figure i'll go through it one more time before the 2nd one is out. So i buy and download it, and its doing the same thing.
My PC Specs are as followed:
ASUS N68C-USS Mtherboard Nvidia GeForce GT520 2gb Graphics Card 8gb Ram Quad Core AMD Athlon II Processor
Now any other game, i can run on medium settings before i have trouble, yet these 2 refuse to work. The following sentence i've put in a spoiler, since i'm not sure whether discussion on the subject is forbidden or not, but i feel it could be very relevant to the subject.
Spoiler:More Info
About a week ago i torrented the game, but it was plagued with problems which i batteld through. The first copy did the same as what the bought version is doing now, but that first copy didnt need installing for some reason, it was playable from the off. Eventually i deleted that first copy and downloaded a different one. This one did install, albeit it was a pain in the ass, but it worked fine. now call me crazy, but this bought edition of the game i doing the same as what a non-installed edition of the game would do
I'd like to finish fabulous game again before number 2 is out, so any help would be very appreciated.
P.S i've read somewhere that it could be the game not using enough of the Cores, or my GPU over heating etc but tbh i dont know much about PC's.
