The general awfulness of the whole system is well documented; I would only ever use it outside of offline mode if there is an online or multiplayer mode that is an integral part of the game (such as with Street Fighter). I tend to avoid GFWL games altogether though, wherever possible. Unless they're very, very cheap or a must-play title (like Batman!). Or both! It can't really be called a service; and whilst the only negative impact on my experience with games on which it features has been the inconvenience of memorising YET ANOTHER username/password combination... well, like I say. The general opinion of the whole thing isn't particularly high! On a related note, I think we should talk about Windows 8 at some point. My info on the whole thing is very sketchy, but it seems many major publishers and developers are boycotting it completely or at the very least suggesting that it heralds the doom of free PC gaming. ------------------- {Steam Forum} HOW NOT TO CS:S

	Trafalgar, all the games should keep working just the same on Windows 8. The only thing they don't like is the App Store which acts as an alternative middle man to Steam of GFWL while probably be closer to GFWL overall in that it offers nothing worthwhile over Steam and is just another annoying option. ------------------- Check out the Android Forum!

	I've never played the second one and only a tad bit of the first, but from what I've been told by friends who are fans of the series first game is full of a lot of depth, strategy, etc, and the second game was an attempt to mainstream the series, so it's just...eh. ------------------- [twitter]

	My two flat-mates and I might be splitting the cost of a Wii between us, for SSBB. New Super Mario Bros Wii and Mario Kart. And the resulting hilarity that is sure to ensue. 	You can't go wrong with a Wii Trafalgar. I never really used mine because I'm the only person in my house that games but it's great when you have people who do. They're actually fun and Mario Kart and SSBB are really good Has anyone played FTL: Faster Than Light ? I've heard nothing but good things about it and it's one of the few games that's on Mac and mine can actually run ! I've been thinking about buying it but I dont know whether to wait in case it's on sale any time soon
