So I've been playing a bit of CS:GO since the free weekend and all, and tbfh I can't see what you guys were bitching about back in the beta. Granted, all I've played (and probably will play) is Arms Race (aka Gungame), and it just pisses all over gungame in CS:S.

The shooting feels at least as precise (honestly, moreso) than CS:S, and just as kinetic. All around it just feels more polished, has more content and looks better to boot. It's the first competitive-MP game I've had fun with in quite a while.

I think my only issue with the game is that, still, all SMGs except the P90 are complete ass. Oh, and I guess always going up against (at best) players with 5x better ping than me (at best I have about 50, usually 60-70, whereas everyone else usually has 10-20) can be frustrating sometimes, though that's not so much a problem with the game as it is a problem with my backwatersnow Canadian internet, so I can't hold that against the game.

EDIT: Shoulda screencapped that. Was about to kill a guy with my knife on CS:GO Arms Race for the last kill, stabbed him like 10 times, when someone else who was also on the knife round swoops in at the last second, deals the last blow, steals my kill and wins the round. :/

I wanted to buy CS:GO after the free weekend but they ended the sale afterwards. It'll probably go on sale again on Black Friday, so no biggie.

Doubt I'll be able to pull myself from TF2 right now, anyway. Eh.
