What is "Xbox 360 Emulator", how does it works and what can I do with it?

Emulators are programs that let you use your computer as if it was a specific video game system. For instance a 360 Emulator would have the functions of a 360, and the ability to play it's games. What functions are available will differ from emulator to emulator, as well as what games are supported. These programs are made from scratch by people of the internet, not by companies themselves (usually), so they aren't perfect. Last time I checked emulators for the Nintendo DS they were all still very much in their infancy. I'm not sure how far along any 360 emulators are, if there any yet at all.

Now, while emulators are legal, games are a different story. If you're using a PSX emulator to play actual PSX discs you bought, that's legal. If you're using the emulator to play games (besides homebrews) you downloaded that is very illegal. Very, very illegal.
