Short answer: You can't. Graphics cards take some RAM from the general pool, but they cannot take even close to all of it.

I will also say you that you can't use your ram in a graphics card. So if you have enough main ram to lend some to your graphics then better you buy a new graphic card.

A 7 year old thread, bumped, to be commented on twice within 2 minutes that the second poster fully agrees with the previous poster.

It's just annoying. Where are the mods around this site? Did neo die? I wasn't invited to the funeral.

I understand your suspicions and they may well be true but the accounts are posting from different ips, so it's hard to really tell if it really is or isn't the same person. Hopefully it isn't and it's just a coincidence because it would be really pathetic if it were true. Nothing malicious is occurring from any of the accounts mentioned, so it's not a big deal atm. If it persists, I'll have a super look into it.

if you have 8mb graphics card you probably have a crappy intel builtin... no 3d on those old things. sorry, gotta upgrade
